Porsche sales in the US Q1 2024

Porsche deliveries in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2024 will be 13,429 units

a little while agoI wrote about Porsche sales numbers for the first quarter of 2024 worldwide.However, this time it will be the number only for "America".

Porsche deliveries in the US this Q1 were 13,429 units, down from 17,440 units in the same period last year.

"We are seeing continued interest in Porsche and the situation will improve as the supply constraints due to regulatory requirements that affected Porsche earlier in the year are easing," said Timo Resch, CEO of Porsche North America.

The supply restrictions refer to cases where Porsches were unable to be delivered from North American ports, resulting in delivery delays, due to violations of the Uyghur Anti-Uighur Law. Many Porsches were stuck at American ports because they contained parts that were subject to the Uyghur Anti-Uighur Law, and could not be delivered until the affected parts were replaced.

All models down compared to the previous year

In North America, the stop in deliveries due to the violation of the Uyghur anti-traffic law appears to have had a significant impact, with all models showing negative results in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the same period last year.

Porsche certified pre-owned car sales in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2024

Porsche certified used car sales in North America in the first quarter of 2024 were 10,372 units (compared to 8,965 units in the same period last year).

This represents an increase of 161 TP1T over the same period last year, and is said to be the highest quarterly sales figure ever recorded for Porsche in North America.

Although the first quarter was a tough one for new cars, the certified used car market appears to be doing quite well.
