Porsche will run in the Tokyo Marathon as the lead car, timing car, etc.

Porsche has signed an official partnership agreement with the Tokyo Marathon for three years from 2025 to 2027, so of course the Porsche Taycan and Macan Electric (EV) will once again be appearing as lead cars at this year's Tokyo Marathon.

The design for the Tokyo Marathon 2026 has been released, so I'd like to take a look.

This time, the message "Run Fast. Dream Big." will be printed on the rear of the vehicle, expressing encouragement to all runners who continue to run towards their dreams while challenging their limits.

...Hmm? Isn't the font a little too simple? ...or so I thought (sorry (lol)). I wonder if this will be the actual design.

The front once again features calligraphy by calligrapher/artist Yuna Okanishi.

At the Tokyo Marathon 2026, the Taycan will kick off the race as the lead car, followed by the Macan EV, which began deliveries in Japan last year, supporting the runners as the timing car.

Being able to see Porsche supporting the course from the start at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building to the finish at Gyoko-dori in front of Tokyo Station is one of the ways I enjoy the Tokyo Marathon.
