Techart Announces GT Street R Flyweight: Techart GTstreet R Flyweight

Posted: Posted:

Limited sale of only 19 units

Techart has announced a new tuning car called "GT Street R Flyweight", which is cool.

It is said that the weight has been considerably reduced, and the base is the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

It seems that it is about 60 kg lighter than the original vehicle weight, and it can be used not only on the circuit but also on public roads.

First, apply an upgrade package called Techart's Powerkit TA092/T2.1.

This package includes an optimized turbocharger, sports air filter, overrun air valve and tuning software.

All this for a total of 800 horsepower (PS) and 950 Nm of torque.

According to Techart, this flyweight model has a 0-100km time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h.

Öhlins ride-height suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires are used to control these impressive performances.

A completely redesigned aero package with a fixed carbon fiber front splitter, side air fins and carbon fiber underbody panels has also been applied to significantly increase downforce.

Carbon fiber front fenders with wheelarch extensions have efficient and visible air outlets, while the rear wing has a lightweight fiber carbon base.

The angle of the rear wing can be adjusted.

The bonnet and rear intake covers have been replaced with carbon fiber parts, and the hood locks have been replaced with quick-release latches. Anyway, it seems that even 1g was lightened.

The rear window has also been replaced with a lighter polycarbonate one. Of course, this is also for weight reduction.

The interior is also light, with the front seats being Recaro Podium CF Performance seats with a carbon fiber shell weighing just 4.9kg.

The custom pad is made with 3D printing so as not to waste material.

Of course, the rear seats are eliminated, and the carpet is also lightweight.

The exterior is the same, but even if you look at the interior, it's kind of "flying".

Sometimes there are many hexagonal patterns, so is this a bee?

I'm flying a lot

If you look closely at the details, you can see that there are a lot of them flying.

According to Tech Art, the purpose of making this GT Street R flyweight is to create a true circuit machine.

It is scheduled to be released to the public at the Bangkok International Motor Show on March 21, 2023, but orders have already started, so if you want it, you need to hurry ... It's limited to 19 units, so it's impossible. ? What do you think?

It was a tech art flyweight that I thought was cool anyway ^^

You can check various Porsche models with tech art specifications.

It didn't seem like there were that many options, but I've only glimpsed it so far.

If you have time, it might be fun to play with it. ? I can't ^^

Finally, here is the GTstreet R Flyweight introduction video (1:11).

It feels like a light flyweight boxer is coming out = flyweight ^ ^ ↓
