For the time being, it is a fact that I went to Fuji Speedway to participate in PTE.

This Porsche Track Experience is a training for Porsche owners to learn sports driving and safety, but it is currently offered at the following classified levels (Official siteThan).

Due to the influence of corona, etc.I participated in this PTE last timeIt was June 2020, more than a year ago.

The program I participated in was "Precision," which is a level 2 elementary level.

Therefore, at the PTE held in November 2020, we will participate in the next level, Level 3, Intermediate Level "Performance".

There is a description that the performance class is [intermediate / advanced program to learn the skills required for the racing course], and after all, after learning the correct line trace at high speed leading driving at Fuji Speedway, there is free practice. It's a program.

Last time, in the Precision program,I just took the lead on the safety lineHowever, I was impressed by the smooth running and sound of the Porsche 911 Carrera, so this time I was looking forward to being able to run this FSW for free after high-speed leading driving, and I was looking forward to it.

Before joining the PTE this time, I went to the PTE of the day after I was able to get gold in the FSW driving time at Gran Turismo on the PlayStation (the car I used was the GR Supra).

Actually, I don't usually do Gran Turismo at all, so this street ↓ I haven't done anything other than FSW, but I'm in a hurry before PTE and I'll do my best until I get gold seriously, my Tekito B type personality Fully open "I only do what I like" practice (laughs).

Of course, just because I practiced on the Sony PlayStation, I wasn't thinking about how to improve the actual driving. The important thing for me was to "learn the course" anyway.

Even though people at my level run, I can't really reach such a high-level story as competing for time, but at least if I run, I wanted to remember the course well and run.

Anyway, I wanted to hear the black carrera's blipping sound and acceleration sound that can only be heard on the circuit. However, that was the only thing I enjoyed most this time.

I left home early in the morning and headed for FSW, but the weather was blessed again on this day, and it was too sunny.

Carrera, who was full of grass and insects at the Porsche the Rally the day before yesterday, was also properly washed and participated again.

I knew that if I participated in PTE, it would get dirty after all because I would run in the sprinkled place again, but I still can't take Carrera dirty to participate in PTE. Hmm.

The other participants started to gather together, and the excitement of "Ah, the day of PTE has finally come" is increasing.

Can I see the instructor I met last time again? Or, when I met Seiji Ara and Yuya Sakamoto, who are professional drivers and instructors this time, at another event before PTE, I told them, "I'm going to PTE next time." I was looking forward to seeing you again here.

Adjusting the earphones of the walkie-talkie is a little difficult

At the seated table, you'll find a pre-assigned sticker for your bib number, a workbook that looks like a textbook for the program of the day, and a name tag and walkie-talkie.

The difference between the walkie-talkie and the last time was to use earphones from this time. However, since the size and shape of the ears of these earphones are different, there seemed to be various things such as "It's too small for my ears (too big) and I can take it off immediately".

I got it right away and it didn't go well.

For those who will participate in the future, is it the tip of the earphones? Is there something that can be adjusted in size? Just for this day, I think it's okay to have something like 100, so if you bring that kind of thing, you may be able to adjust it to your ears a little ^ ^

After the opening, there will be greetings from Porsche Japan and instructors and explanations of the contents of this PTE program, and then all the participants are preparing to put stickers on their cars.

Oh yeah, sweets and drinks were prepared in the room I explained earlier, so I'm glad I had coffee from the morning.

Taycan also came to play (?) ~.

Put one bib on each side of the car body and one from the inside on the upper part of the front window on the passenger seat side.

After that, I was asked to take out everything in the car, so take out what is in the car (also in the trunk) and transfer it to the locker provided.

Since it can be locked, I wonder if valuables can be put in for the time being.

When we were ready to some extent, we all gathered around Taycan and took a commemorative photo.

Now, finally, attach the walkie-talkie and wait in the car for a short time before departure.

Act in 4 groups

PTE Performance is divided into 4 groups (Groups A to D), each of which has 2 instructors.

And since the order of the program contents to be practiced is different for each group, the four groups are configured to handle some training contents in a different order so as not to wear them.

I was "C group" this time.

I can't write about the details of the program here because it's fun after I participated, but for the time being, the first training of Group C that I was in was like a so-called steady circular turn. ..

I thought it would be painful if this training started right after lunch, so I secretly thought it was good because Group C would do this at the beginning of the morning ^^

Everyone in Group C moved and started training.

From this time on, I will teach you a little more rigorously! So, both the instructors and the participants are motivated (probably ^^).

I'm glad that I was taught strictly and properly rather than being treated as a customer with care, so I thought that PTE in a strict mode would be good.

Mt. Fuji looked beautiful, and even when other people were running, when I looked sideways, the wonderful view of Porsche and Mt. Fuji was always in front of me, which was really great.

In such a pleasant weather, a day where you can run to your heart's content with your favorite Porsche 911 is really the best.

The day that started from now on was fun and fun, and I was always saying, "Mr. Carrera, let's have a lot of fun today!"

First of all, water is sprinkled where you run.

The weather was too hot again, so the sprinkled water was getting dry and I couldn't think it was November.

Even with the previous PTE, my Carrera couldn't slide easily, and in fact, at other events, a professional driver tried to make a steady circular turn with my Carrera. It's hard to slip. "

Therefore, this time I also tried it in a situation where the instructor was in the passenger seat at first and gave instructions from the side, but after all I could not slide well.

The instructor also said, "In fact, there are some individuals that don't slip easily," but my Carrera doesn't really slip.

Well, from my point of view, it's safer and more helpful for me to use this much "I can't slip even if I try to slip on purpose" ^^

That was when I tried to slide it twice and started running alone for the third time.

In the steady circular turn, I do not step on the brake while driving, so I used the brake to move the place because I got a message saying "Then (the order changes) next" after the third time. About the time.

I felt that something was different from usual.

But I don't know what's different.

Come back, park your car and try to brake again.

Only a little while after PTE started. Unfortunately, my black Carrera broke and couldn't be repaired here.

My PTE, which I was looking forward to very much, ended at this time.

No, I haven't participated in it (laughs).

No refund, no substitute car, no transfer for PTE

… This PTE (performance) is the price to participate, but it is about 200,000 including the inspection fee in advance.

But if your car breaks like this, it's probably just the beginning, and there's no refund, no matter when it breaks.

Also, if you can't participate by getting a substitute car, there will be no transfer to the next time.

With that in mind, there are times when I feel like it was a waste, but there are also feelings that I can't help but I think I have no choice but to convince myself.

But above all, what I was looking forward to ended up in a blink of an eye, and above all, it was an absolute existence for me (it's not good to be overconfident). I know, but it was the most painful thing that my favorite black carrera, which I thought somewhere in my heart that it couldn't be broken, was broken.

You're still training, so you're quietly back in the empty paddock area.

Then, my black carrera was also loaded and returned. I can't drive anymore. I decided to take him back to the Porsche Center in Tokyo as it is.

After that, I know that if you check it and repair it properly, you will be able to run again. Only that was good.

But for the time being, I couldn't drive on that day anymore.

On this day, the black carrera suddenly broke down and my PTE ended.

So I was sad that it broke, and I was sad that I couldn't continue PTE, but I still feel that I was more thankful to Carrera.

Play with Taycan

Mr. Black Carrera was unloaded once near the grinning Taycan. I did not expect to line up with Taycan in this way.

At that time, I talked with some of the instructors and mechanics who came back, but it was said that everyone had never seen this failure.

The instructors, including Mr. Ara, who was able to meet again, were very kind, and I was glad to hear a lot of very kind words from everyone.

I was glad that you said "Let's play together again" ^^ I would like to participate again without discipline.

After various things happened, it was newly loaded, and this time the black carrera left for Tokyo.

In the meantime, the participants returned one after another after finishing the morning program.

It's lunch time, so it's lunch time.

It was a PTE participation fee (+ inspection fee) of 200,000 yen, but considering that it ended in the first moment, I ate this bento while saying that it was worth about 150,000 yen. (Laughs)

After that, the participants went to the afternoon program again. It was good to be able to talk with the participants at lunch time, although it was a little. It was fun ^^

After that, we had coffee and took a leisurely break. Again, it was fun to be able to talk with the wife who was accompanied by the participants.

It's been a different way to enjoy it than everyone else, but this time, PTE was a lot of fun because I was able to talk a lot with instructors and mechanics. ..

I think that it was because of your kindness that I was able to enjoy myself until the end even if this happened.

Return is Urakan EVO

Well, I wonder if it's about time to go home, but now that Mr. Black Carrera is gone, how do I get back from Fuji Speedway to my home in Tokyo?

Ah, I never thought I'd be going home with the Urakan EVO so quickly.

I'm sure that one day I will be able to hear the wonderful sound of black carrera on FSW.

On the way back, I changed driving from Ebina.

I ran with EVO because I couldn't run with black carrera. I wonder if it was good that I finally got used to the unfamiliar turn signal ^ ^

After this, instead of returning home immediately, I headed to the Porsche Center where Black Carrera arrived a little earlier.
