Cayman GT4RS revival project still in progress
2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Weissach Package that was delivered to an owner in Slovenia.
The car had been parked in an underground parking lot, but it was only about a month after the car was delivered that a terrible storm came and caused a huge flood, and the Cayman was submerged under water.
When you hear about a car being submerged in a flood, you tend to think of it being washed away, but the situation in Cayman at that time didn't seem to be that way; it looked like it was buried under water in a huge amount of mud. It seems that it has become a situation.
It took three days to be buried in the mud until it was dug up.
The Cayman, which had no flashing warning lights indicating that the car was still alive, was (probably) sent to Frankfurt as scrap.
However, this mud-covered Cayman seems to have been sold online, and Ricardo Sciascia, the founder of German tuning shop ``RS Dynamics,'' found it and purchased it.
He launched a project to revive the Cayman, which was covered in mud and stopped working.
The project name is "Project Seacret". What is Seacret? Is it a misspelling of "Secret"? That's what I thought, but when I looked at the shop's Instagram, it said "Secret".
This Cayman is a 2023 model with only 758 km on the odometer and comes with the Weissach package.
Even though it was submerged in water, it hadn't been washed away, so there was no damage from hitting anything, and since a protection film had been applied, the carbon fiber and paint were in surprisingly good condition.
It would be great if I could bring it back to life, but I don't know how much the three days of being submerged in the mud are having a negative effect on the car.
Anyway, it looks like everything will be disassembled, the mud removed, cleaned, and put back together.
You can follow the progress on the shop's Instagram.

On Instagram, you can see things I've never seen before, such as shampooing and washing the inside of the car.
The Cayman GT4 RS has barely been able to run yet, so I would like to bring it back to life.
I'm looking forward to seeing if it really comes back ^^
