Since the 992 has adopted a wide body, I think that HV conversion will sooner or later.
But if you don't have a charging port, it could just be a mild HV, as you can see in the AUTOCAR article.
Will the same HV as Cayenne and Panamera appear on the 911, which has a wide body but has many space restrictions?
Even though the 992's 8-speed PDK is 100mm shorter, the Porsche E-HV should have a clutch between the engine and the motor, and a transmission between the motor and the drive wheels.
With that in mind, I think that 911 has high hurdles in terms of space including batteries, weight, weight distribution, etc. for E-HV conversion.
My expectation is that an AWD model with an extra wide body like a turbo could be an E-HV, but other than that, especially the RWD model will be a mild HV.
The reason is that RR RWD vehicles cannot receive the powerful torque of the motor.
Panamera's Turbo SE-HV may lose traction beyond the capacity of the tire.
If you turn off the ESP, the 911 will easily make one revolution.
With E-HV, even if ESP is ON, I feel that it will be a dangerous car due to the power of the motor.

My wife's CLS53 is a mild HV, but it often runs sharper than the new M4 in the city.
Even with the 992 Carrera, there is a breath for the turbo to work and the torque rises, but if it is made into a mild HV, it should react more linearly.
(Should M3 / M4 also be mild HV? That's why there is another deep world.)
