Black Carrera car wash: try a commercial water spot cleaner

Posted: August 26, 2022 Updated:

Wash Dirty Carrera in Square Training

The other dayI took a driving lesson at Fuji Speedway's P2As a result, the black Carrera, which was bathed in the well water that was sprinkled at that time, became dirty again.

In the pastThe experience of leaving a lot of water spots (ion deposits), and now protects the body considerably from scratchesI have REVOLT PRO EXTREME coatedTherefore, after driving in a place where water was sprayed the other day, I immediately washed the car with a car wash machine.

I tried adding a high-pressure washing option to the shampoo car wash, but the front part was still full of dirt even after washing.

terrible.

Of course, even with this, it was cleaner than before I put it in the car wash, but there was still a lot of dirt that I didn't think was after the car wash ↓

I just can't stand this! So off to the car wash.

After all, washing yourself is the most relaxing ^ ^

This time, after getting it wet with high-pressure water, I washed it with a microfiber cloth with the shampoo I got from Revolt.

After washing the whole with shampoo, once again wash the whole with high-pressure water and towel dry.

result.

Oooh. Isn't it pretty? ? ↓

After washing the car, it looks pretty clean.

But in fact, it's no good to see it up close. There are so many ion deposits left. haha ↓

Cleaner for commercial water stains and water spots

Well, I wanted to try one here, so I'll try it.

What I wanted to try was a commercially available cleaner for water spots and water scale.

This is one of the things I bought when I was in a rush because I had water spots at the beginning (I was in a panic at that time, so I bought a lot of things anyway (laughs)), but in the end This is something that has been stored for a long time without being tried.

I have already come to the conclusion that the only way to remove the terrible ion deposits on my black Carrera is to use a very strong acidic cleaner or have it polished by a professional. , I'm still trying to use a cleaner like this, but I wasn't convinced that I wouldn't use it even once, so I'm going to give it a try.

I applied this liquid as explained and washed the part in front of this front tire.

Here are the results.

Compared to the photo above, is the dirt a little lighter? ?

Left is Before and right is After. It feels a little dirty, doesn't it? ?

I think it's good not for driving lessons, but for dropping small water spots that get stuck in normal driving.

However, in the case of my Carrera, which is full of water stains as a whole, it is labor-intensive to re-polish the whole with this liquid if you do your best to wash this small area and get this much. I thought it was too much, so I ended up just trying this little area this time.

It seems that this product can also be used for cleaning at home, so the rest is for water stains at home? I think I'll use it for something like that ^^

By the way, after washing the car with hand-washing shampoo, the bonnet part became almost shiny).

This is the state of the front part I took before going to the car wash ↓

And this is after washing the car. Hmm. Beautiful↓

When I look at the before, it looks like a lot of water is sprayed on the front.

Hmmm.

The side and rear parts were originally the most dirty, so even if I tried to wash the car by hand, the ion deposit was still left over.

Seeing the stains left like this, I know I'm getting used to it.

Scary to get used to

raise the rear wing

Come to think of it, I have never washed the rear wing of this Carrera when I wash it myself.

I usually forget to raise this wing when I wash the car because I don't usually raise it manually.

So this time, I raised my first wing and checked the dirt inside.

It is surprisingly beautiful when viewed from behind. Was good.

However, looking at it from the front, I thought that this side would get dirty from the front when driving on the highway, so it was a little dirty.

A quick wipe will clean it up, but there was a little bit of bird poop on it, so I'm glad I noticed it at that time (laughs) ↓

You can rest assured that the white dirt is also removed cleanly. I didn't expect it to have entered this gap.

For the time being, it has returned to the point where I can think that it has become beautiful just by looking at it, so I am satisfied with this this time.

And after all, the fact that I'm not depressed like before even in front of the black Carrera, which is actually full of ion deposits, is a sense of security that Mr. Rebolt will restore it cleanly next time. It's because there is.

This sense of security is really important to me, and it is precisely because I believe that the black Carrera will be restored to its shiny condition that I am able to participate in open space training without worrying about anything.

I am grateful that I can run with peace of mind from the dirt side of the car like this.

So I got excited (?) and just washed the car, but I'm going to go to the lesson again soon.

More and more dirt is added ~ ^ ^
