Reunited with German Porsche mechanic Marcus
in July 2022I participated in an event hosted by Porsche Studio NihonbashiThere was something.
At that time, I met a Porsche mechanic who can speak English (Japanese), and through that relationship the other dayA Porsche mechanic who came to Japan from the United States gave us a tour of the Porsche Center AdachiI was doing it ^ ^
Mr. Markus, a Porsche mechanic in Germany, who came to Japan in July 2022 and gave a presentation.
He is working at the Porsche Center in Germany as a Porsche technique master.
Since he came to Japan again this time, the second Marcus event was held by Porsche Studio Nihonbashi.
I asked a lot of questions last time, and I thought I'd like to meet you again if I had the chance, so of course I'll go! !
The event on this day starts at 14:00, so I aim to arrive a little early, so I walk around 13:45 and walk to Porsche Studio Nihonbashi.
A bright green Targa and a bright red Carrera S were on display in front of the store, and they were very eye-catching.
I also started from looking at Porsche, saying "Oh, Mr. Porsche is cool!"
Um, hasn't the presentation started yet?
Yes, I thought the event would start at 14:00 on this day, but due to a slight misunderstanding of information, the actual presentation started at 13:00.
Uhya.
That's why the presentation was almost over when I arrived. Unfortunately, I could hardly hear the presentation (laughs). Well, I can't help it.
*Since I wasn't there from the beginning, I didn't ask if I could post the presentation contents, so I would like to not write about the contents just in case (because the last time was NG).
Although I made a mistake in the presentation, after the presentation I was able to listen to explanations etc. by moving to the Porsche exhibited outside ^ ^
For opening the Targa top...
They even showed us the inside of the rear, which is usually covered (what do you mean (laughs)?).
The front cover part was also removed and the inside was shown.
After that, Q&A.
In this question and answer session, each participant was able to directly ask Mr. Marcus what they were wondering.
The question was "Porsche 911 (model number) is 992 next to 991, but is there any meaning even though the order is messed up? What will be next?"
The answer to this is "I don't know" (laughs).
Well, that's right. If he confidently answers, "Next is 994, 998 if electrified," it's a big scoop.
*By the way, this 994 & 998 is actually a rumor ^^
The main reason why I was able to participate in the event again was that I had a question in Mr. Marcus' presentation last time, so I wanted to confirm it.
So, I was able to ask and answer what I was wondering about at the end, so it's already refreshing.
Furthermore, he remembered me saying, "Oh, you asked me a question before!" I was so happy.
After that, there were other things I wanted to ask about the 911 that I am currently ordering, so I wanted to ask about it, and I wanted to show you something about the next car, so I praised you for watching it. be happy to be
I would like to write about this even when my next 911 is delivered ^ ^
Light meals were also prepared at this Porsche Studio Nihonbashi event.
After that, the time when the event was held was ``Kanda Festival, one of the three major festivals of Edo,'' so the half-air of the town association where Porsche Studio Nihonbashi is located was also decorated. .
This place in Nihonbashi is a gathering of people from the parishioners who participate in the Kanda Festival, so I think that being able to enjoy such traditions and culture together is a privilege unique to Porsche Studio Nihonbashi.
Anyway, I was very happy to be able to meet Marcus again after about 10 months!
I am sure that you will hold an event when you come to Japan again, so I would like to look forward to seeing you again for the third time.
Thank you Marcus and Mr. Porsche Studio Nihonbashi!
