The ENEOS Super Taikyu Series 2026 Empowered by BRIDGESTONE 24-hour endurance race was held at Fuji Speedway from June 5th (Fri) to 7th (Sun), 2026.
Up until now, the Porsche dealer group that I always do business with has participated in this Super Taikyu series as "Porsche Team EBI," so I have been supporting them every year.
Starting this year, the team will be competing as part of the Kokusai Group, EBI's parent company, and has therefore changed its name to "KOKUSAI GROUP SPORTS TEAM".
The class remains the same as before, ST-Z class, and the license plate number is also the same as before, #22. The vehicle is a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.
I really wanted to watch the Super Taikyu 24 Hours race with this new team in person, but I had errands to run until late Saturday evening, and on Sunday I had to be back in Tokyo by the evening, so I had to give up on going there.
Meanwhile,Porsche Studio GinzaThey held a viewing event at night, so I watched the game from there this time (although I was only able to watch from there for a few hours out of the 24 hours...).
On this day, I joined a couple who had previously watched the 24-hour endurance race at FSW (Fuji Speedway) and cheered for the EBI team together. It was a pleasure to see them again after so long!
A large screen inside the Porsche Studio Ginza is showing a live broadcast of the Super Taikyu race.
There was also an exhibit of the vehicles used in last year's series.
Furthermore, as a special guest, a member of the editorial team from the automotive lifestyle magazine "ENGINE" was also present that day, and they shared their thoughts on the race while watching the live broadcast of the Super Taikyu series.
In addition, we also heard stories from the mechanics about the vehicles and the team.
In between live broadcasts, they connected to the KOKUSAI GROUP SPORTS TEAM's pit, showing the mechanics working around and even connecting with the drivers who were actually racing.
Even though I was at Porsche Studio Ginza, having live broadcasts from the pits like this made me feel like I was actually there, which added to the sense of realism and was really great.

At Porsche Studio Ginza, a meal inspired by "circuit food" was served on this day, and of course, alcohol was also available.That's why I went.).

Perhaps because the meals were designed to evoke the feeling of being served at a racetrack or in the paddock, the menu names were displayed in a pop style that was quite unexpected from the usual elegant The Momentum by Porsche.
On this day, I unexpectedly had the opportunity to meet many people, including several sales representatives who I work with, and I was able to spend a very enjoyable time with everyone after a long time.
With some drinks in the air, and being told, "You can stay here and watch the game until tomorrow's checker," I felt like I could easily stay longer, but unfortunately, it was time to wrap things up that evening.
I always feel like I'm getting drunk when I watch the Super Taikyu races, but I always have a really great time.
While we were getting drunk, the team members worked hard and ran for 24 hours straight. Thank you so much for your hard work.
On this day, the KOKUSAI GROUP SPORTS TEAM came in 3rd place in their class. Congratulations!
