Worldwide Porsche sales figures for the first half of 2026 (Q1 & Q2)

Porsche sales for the first half of 2026 are projected at 122,306 units.

Well, six months of the year have flown by, and before we know it, the first half of the year is over. Porsche AG has also released its financial results for the first half of 2026 (January-June).

Porsche's global sales for the first half of 2026 are projected to be 122,306 units. For comparison, sales for the first half of last year were 146,391 units, representing a decrease of 161 TP and 1 T compared to the same period last year.

The main reasons for this include the discontinuation of production of the internal combustion engine-equipped 718 model, a rebound from the significant increase in deliveries seen in the same period last year due to the market launch of the Macan Electric, and the end of tax incentives for EVs and hybrid vehicles in the United States.

Meanwhile, the 911 continues to maintain very high demand, with 911 deliveries in the first half of this year increasing by 191 TP and 1 T compared to the same period last year.

This is said to be due to the continued demand for the 911, as well as the various derivative models that were introduced in stages last year, with the GTS, Turbo, and GT models accounting for a large proportion.

And overall, the sales mix across different sales regions is said to be well-balanced.

According to Porsche, the figure of 122,306 units sold in the first half of the year was in line with their expectations.

Matthias Becker, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, said:

"Deliveries of the Cayenne Electric began at the end of June, and we've received positive feedback from our dealer network. We believe that new products such as the recently announced 911 GT3 S/C and the Taycan's E-Shift system with virtual gear shifting functionality will also delight Porsche fans around the world. We've already received very positive feedback from industry media as well."

Looking at sales by region, North America maintained its top position with 37,712 deliveries.

The decrease of approximately 131 TP1T is thought to be due to various factors, as mentioned above, such as the end of tax incentives for EVs and hybrid vehicles and the discontinuation of production of the ICE 718 model.

In Germany, 14,938 units were delivered, a decrease of 61 TP1T compared to the same period last year. In Europe excluding Germany, 30,278 units were delivered (a decrease of 141 TP1T compared to the same period last year).

In China, 14,501 units were delivered (down 321 TP1T compared to the same period last year). The main reasons for this decrease are said to be the challenging market environment and Porsche's continued focus on price-conscious sales.

In overseas and emerging markets, 24,877 units were sold (down 181 TP and 1 T compared to the same period last year).

The best-selling model in the first half of 2026 will be the Cayenne.

Looking at sales figures for each model, the Cayenne was the best-selling of the six model lines in the first half of 2026, with 38,141 units delivered. However, even this represents a decrease of 91 TP and 1 T compared to the same period last year.

However, since deliveries of the Cayenne EV began at the end of June, the numbers may increase slightly in the future.

The 911 maintained its strong performance, selling 30,534 units in the first half of the year, an increase of 191 TP and 1T compared to the same period last year.

35,315 Macan units were sold (down 221 TP1T compared to the same period last year), of which 19,695 were internal combustion engine (ICE) models and 15,620 were Macan Electric models.

In most countries outside the EU, the ICE model is still offered alongside the electric vehicle version, so there are quite a few ICE Macans being delivered (however, production of the ICE Macan will end at the end of July 2026).

The Panamera's sales were down 381 TP and 1 T in the same period last year, to 9,308 units, mainly due to product shortages in China, one of its main markets. → The product shortage has been resolved with the introduction of the China-exclusive Panamera Pure Edition, which was released in April.

Sales of the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman totaled 2,789 units, down 731 TP and 1 T compared to the same period last year. However, this decrease was expected as production of these models will cease in October 2025.

The Taycan sold 6,219 units, down 251 TP1T from the same period last year. Regarding the Taycan, even in the announcement of these figures, it seems they were saying something like, "This was the main reason for the poor sales."excusePorsche has even stopped writing down the reasons (lol).
