The tires to be used in the Porsche Carrera Cup in North America have been announced. Starting with the 2026 season, Pirelli will be the official tire supplier.

The Carrera Cup in North America will start in 2021, and Michelin will be the official tire supplier until the fifth season in 2025. From the sixth season in 2026, however, Pirelli will take over.

The tires used for the Porsche 911 Cup car are Pirelli P Zero DHG tires. When wet tires are required, they are replaced with Pirelli Cinturato WHB tires. The body of the 911 Cup car is based on the 992.2 generation.
The combination of car and Pirelli tires will be introduced for the first time this season at the series-wide test to be held at Sebring International Raceway in mid-February 2026.

This agreement is likely due to the fact that Pirelli is developing the P Zero R and P Zero Trofeo RS for the road-going Porsche 911 GT3.
The new Pirelli P Zero tires will carry the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) logo, signifying that all FSC-certified natural rubber used in the tires comes from growing areas managed for the conservation of biodiversity and the benefit of the people who live and work in those areas.

(USA) DSV Selected as Official Logistics Partner of Porsche Motorsport
Also, in North America, DSV has been selected as the official logistics partner for Porsche Motorsport North America and Carrera Cup North America for the 2026 season.

DSV is a global transportation and logistics provider with approximately 150,000 employees in 90 countries around the world.
As an official logistics partner, the new Porsche 911 Cup car for the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup North America was transported from Germany to the United States, and it appears that the company will continue to manage logistics throughout the season.

The DSV name will also appear on all Carrera Cup North America race cars throughout the season.
Have they ever announced their official logistics partners before? I thought this was a bit of an unusual announcement.

The logistics partner may be North American only, but what about tires?
I believe the tires used for the Porsche Carrera Cup in Japan have been Michelin until now, but I wonder if they will continue to use Michelin in Japan, or if they will also switch to Pirelli.
