An extremely horrible way to steal.
The incident reportedly occurred in Los Angeles, USA, and involved the theft of a Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet... and it's horrible. Truly awful.
Before,They cut off only the headlights of the Porsche and stole them. There was a similar crime that made headlines some time ago, but this one is even worse.
That's because when the Porsche was discovered, it was in such a state that it was almost unrecognizable as a Porsche.

Not only was the horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine stolen, but so were the PDK transmission, the wheels... In fact, it would be more difficult to list all the parts that were stolen than the parts that remain. Almost every part of the car, from the exterior to the interior, was taken.

When this car was first discovered, some people even wondered if it was originally a Mazda, because at first glance, it was completely unrecognizable as a Porsche 911. How sad.
By carefully examining the remaining shape, it becomes clear that it is likely a 992-generation Porsche 911, but there is virtually nothing left of it.

While parts containing the vehicle identification number (VIN), such as the chassis, are left behind because they cannot be resold (due to the risk of detection/tracking), other parts can fetch a high price if sold individually, so they are stolen piecemeal like this.

It's shocking enough to have your car stolen completely, but to have it left in this state is truly devastating, something you might never recover from.
However, if this demolition (?) was carried out on the street where the car was parked before anyone could see it, it was done with such efficiency that it's frightening, and I hope that this kind of damage doesn't continue.
