The new Porsche Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric will be released on November 19, 2025.World premiere in digital presentationThe first real car exhibition was held at the Icons of Porsche 2025 event in Dubai.
This is the fifth time that Icons of Porsche 2025 has been held.

Porsche's fully electric SUV was unveiled for the first time in Dubai, a place with polar opposite environments of city and desert, and the event also featured driving in the harsh Arabian desert environment, with fine powdery sand dunes, gradients of over 25 degrees, and temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.

Even in such conditions, "it feels like a much lighter car," said Michael Schätzle, Porsche's vice president of production lines, noting that the car's performance, particularly at low speeds and with large steering angles, is unprecedented.

The Cayenne EV prototype was reportedly fitted with standard summer tires and tested in the desert with different chassis systems.
The adaptive air suspension, which is standard equipment with PASM, demonstrates excellent off-road performance, and when equipped with this system, the ground clearance is increased by 55 mm with a special off-road vehicle height setting, to a maximum of 245 mm.

The specs (for the Cayenne Turbo EV) are a maximum of 850kW (1,156PS) and 1,500Nm of torque.

This is a bit of a repetition of what was already announced the other day, but the highlights of the technology and equipment announced this time were:
- Electronically controlled all-wheel drive system "Porsche Traction Management (ePTM)": Supports all off-road modes (sand, gravel, mud, rocks) with response speeds approximately five times faster than conventional systems
- Off-Road Package: Approach angle up to 25 degrees, revised front lower section, reinforced side skirts with skid plates, horizontal cooling flaps for additional intake air

- New battery cooling structure: For the first time, two cooling plates, one on top and one on bottom, are used per module to efficiently regulate the temperature of the 113kWh high-voltage battery.
- Direct oil cooling (motor side): Applying motorsports technology to production vehicles
- Adaptive air suspension (with PASM): Achieves a ground clearance of up to 245 mm when driving off-road (+55 mm increase)

- Cayenne Turbo optional Porsche Active Ride: Almost complete control of vehicle body movements ensures stability and traction even in desert terrain
- Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus): electronically controlled differential lock and rear wheel braking combine to improve traction, stability and lateral dynamics, also effective in sand

Since its first market launch in 2002, the Cayenne series has maintained uncompromising off-road performance, including off-road capabilities, and of course this continues to be the case this time around.
One of those requirements, "Dune Surfing," has also been met in this EV model.

The Cayenne is an SUV that can be driven both in the city and off-road, yet it also combines the maneuverability of a sports car with the comfort of a sedan.

The Cayenne has finally become an electric model and is now in an era where it can run through the desert.
