What are the many stickers on the Targa?
Recently, Porsche released a holiday greeting video, which was said to contain eight hidden things and a story behind it.
What are those eight things? When this video was released, I enjoyed watching it, wondering what was hidden in it.
And I wrote about some of the things I discovered in this blog → "The secret hidden in Porsche's holiday greeting video” (You can also watch the video here).
At one point in the video, a Porsche 911 Targa is shown with several stickers stuck to the rear side.
The number of stickers eventually becomes eight, but the way they are displayed makes it seem like "it starts with one sticker and then the number gradually increases," so I thought it was clear that "this Targa has experienced and accumulated various events and Porsche-related happenings over the course of its history with its owner."
However, even though this "first photo, signifying the beginning of history" was clearly displayed, I couldn't understand it even after searching, and I wondered, "What on earth does this sticker mean?"
This is what I bought. ↓
Then! !!
I received a message from the president of Porsche Club Utsunomiya, and he said:
"This sticker is probably the Grossglockner pass that was tested on the 356 prototype during Ferry Porsche's time."
When.
Wow, what, what, what, what, what incredibly useful information!! That may be exactly right!
On the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse sticker
I immediately looked into it.
About the high mountain road in the Austrian Alps, officially named the Grossglockner High Mountain Road (Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse).
Here's the logo I found:

Although the shape is slightly different (although it seems that there have been other designs in the past that have had the same shape as the video), the frame surrounding the entire logo is a "G" and the style with the letters inside is also the same.
Furthermore, the mountains depicted in the painting are from the Alps.
However, this alone wasn't enough to be completely certain, so I gave it a try, even though I thought it couldn't possibly be true.
what?

Yes, counting numbers.
Due to the poor image quality of the video, it was not possible to make out the text, but the number of characters was still discernible.
I tried to count this.
As a result, the number of characters at the top is 13, and the number of characters at the bottom is 16.

The official name of this high mountain road is
Grossglockner → 13 letters
Hochalpenstrasse → 16 characters
Yes, it's here! Isn't this confirmed?

First of all, the president of the Porsche Club Utsunomiya is amazing for seeing this sticker and immediately understanding that it means "Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse." I was also impressed by the artist in the video who was able to accurately match the number of characters on this sticker.
Porsche's origins: the test site for the 356 (No. 1)
By the way, it is officially stated that this Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse is the place where Ferry Porsche tested and developed his first Porsche (356 No. 1), and this very place is "another depiction of the origins of Porsche" in this video.

My biggest question about the sticker at the beginning has now been answered, and I feel so much better now, thank you so much!
If anyone else notices anything else, I'd be grateful if you could let me know ^^
