2 days and 1 night for the first time at Cabcon
In this blog, I wrote a lot about cars, but I didn't write much about my personal travels.
However, this time I tried a family trip with a camper for the first time in my life, so I would like to introduce where and how I went around, so I will write it ^ ^
Click here for the rented car:First Camper Experience: Family Trip at Cabcon
When I started running in a camper, the first thing that surprised me was the "height of the sitting position" in the driver's seat and passenger's seat.
Even on the road you normally drive, the world and scenery you can see from there are completely different.
For example, this is the view seen from the passenger's seat window when running around the Imperial Palace on the Metropolitan Expressway ↓. With Porsche 911, maybe you can only see the walls and somehow you can see the buildings and trees in the distance? I don't think it's about that, but from the camper's seat, you can see everything like this! !! !!
I'm a little impressed with this ^^
Anyway, the windows are big and I could see various scenery from a high position, which made even the usual road a new experience.
Cam Road cabcon that was vulnerable to the wind
And this time, when I tried to drive myself, what I thought was the most "wow" was that this car was "vulnerable to crosswinds". This was scary! !!
In advance, the car rental company's older brother said, "Because it is vulnerable to wind, it is better not to run at a level where a strong wind warning is issued. ) ”(Scary!), But when I actually run, I can see that the car body is swept away when the wind blows from the side, even if the wind is not so great.
After that, even if it is not a natural wind, even if a big truck passes by the viewn next to it, the car body will be swept away by it.
This was one of the scariest things I've been driving. That's why I couldn't speed up anymore and became sensitive to the wind conditions (laughs).
As for the curve, if the speed is too fast, it seems that you will not be able to turn completely along the road, so just slow down.
Until a few days ago, I thought "I wish there was no speed limit on the highway", but the moment I started driving this car, "Eh! Shin Tomei's 120km is too fast!" I'm full of my own thoughts.
Really, I thought it was selfish ... (laughs).
By the way, the first experience of a camper, first of all, "I can go home immediately if something goes wrong", so the first destination was thinking only of the nearby area.
When I asked the children if there was a place they wanted to go, they said, "I want to see Mt. Fuji," so I decided to go to Mt. Fuji.
However, it is.
We were too unplanned, and it was already around 15:00 when we left Tokyo, so by the time we arrived at Mt. Fuji with a camper van, the area was already dark and we couldn't see Mt. Fuji very well (laughs).
Furthermore, when I was watching the situation until I arrived at Mt. Fuji, I found out that the children were enjoying their camper life without any problems, so I suddenly changed my destination, saying, "Then, will you continue to run?"
I decided to take the plunge and go to Ise Jingu (too suddenly (laughs))!
Because, before, my husband and I had rented a Cayman and went to Ise Jingu on a day trip, but at that time he said, "I want to bring my children someday."
Blog when I went to Ise Jingu:Drive to Ise Jingu with Porsche 718 Cayman ... From ~ Hamamatsu eel! !!
With a camper, children can comfortably go even the distance to Ise Jingu, so this is a chance to go! When.
Furthermore, it seems that there are many people when it comes to the first visit after the new year, but this day is still December 29th. It wouldn't be so dense in the early morning of the end of the year (Ise Jingu, I confirmed it was open from 5am).
That's why we suddenly started running with the destination at Ise Jingu.
I stopped because it was a meal and a restroom in some places, but even at that time I became aware of other campers that I had not seen before, and I was surprised at the number of people running in the camper. rice field.
When campers pass each other, some people wave their hands, and there is also a "camper-friendship" here, hmm, that's good. Nice ^^
When I was running at night, I used to go to the bridge in Aichi prefecture by Cayman. It's kind of nostalgic.
It took a long time because the speed was much slower than the previous trip at 718 Cayman and there were more restroom breaks, but anyway, the children seemed to have fun and slept slowly. It was really good to be able to carry it while it was there (I don't know if it's better to say it, but ^^).
Here is the scene when Ise is finally approaching in the morning ↓.
It was such a mysterious scenery that I could only say that it was divine, and I thought, "Oh, this is the road that continues to God."
Ise Jingu was still vacant in the early morning, and the parking lot could be parked near Ise Jingu.
But! !!
Actually, it will be the first time to park in a toll parking lot, so I struggled a little with the roof of the place where I got the parking ticket (ticketing machine).
The camper of the previous customer in the back of the photo below guided me, "If you bring it to the edge, you can avoid the roof!" ^^
At the entrance of the flat toll parking lot outside, there is a simple roof at the ticketing machine of the parking ticket. I've never been concerned about it.
Therefore, if you normally bring the car to the ticket machine and enter with the image of taking the parking ticket from the driver's seat, you will surely hit the roof. Therefore, I had to go to the person who doesn't have a roof (passenger side) because I had to get out of the car and take the parking ticket.
It's a simple thing, but there are many things to learn. I am really grateful to those who taught me! If not told, maybe I was hitting the roof with the first shot.
Arrived at Ise Jingu in the early morning ~ ↓ Impressed!
I thought it would be possible to come with the children after they were older, so I was happy to be able to come with them so quickly.
Of course, I was very happy to be able to visit Ise Jingu again at the end of 2020.
Anyway, I said, "I'm full of worldly desires, but I'll live in good faith, so please forgive me."
As I wrote during my previous trip to Cayman, I really like these trees at Ise Jingu. Your heart will be washed. It's a mass of worldly desires.
However, I am still filled with the feeling of being pure.
We had the children see the splendid trees, the light of the sun spilling from between them, the splendid carp swimming in the pond, and so on, and we were able to experience them together.
In Tokyo, I sometimes see herons in the moat of the Imperial Palace, but I was able to see the herons' parents and children firmly here as well. Somehow happy ~.
It doesn't look good in the photo, but there were many in the back of the photo below ↓
And another reason why I wanted to bring children to Ise is the main store of "Akafuku". Children (and myself) love Akafuku and often buy and eat it when they can buy it in Tokyo.
The Akafuku main store is open from 5 am, just like Ise Jingu. very!
At the main store, I was able to see Akafuku being made in front of me, and the children were impressed. "Eh! Oh, I'm making it !!"
Of course, most of them are made in the factory ^^
And the Akafuku that can be eaten at this main store is not a factory item, but the Akafuku that the female craftsman (?) I saw earlier handmade.
Even before I ate it, I was clearly the most excited to give a lecture to the children, saying, "Akafuku at the main store is completely different from what I usually eat!" But, I'm glad that everyone was really impressed by eating a bite and saying, "It's completely different !! It's soft !!" ^^
Also, when I was traveling to Cayman, I had Akafuku's shaved ice because it was summer, but this time it's winter, so it's Akafuku's zenzai. It was really sweet, but it was delicious.
After having plenty of Akafuku, take a walk while looking at souvenirs at Okage Yokocho, thanks to Ise Naiku-mae. I went home before the number of people increased.
Even in this kind of morning, as long as an adult moves the car at night, it is very easy to get around the destination just by removing the children from the car, so it is very easy for the children to get up from the car. When I got off, it was already a destination and it was too great for each other.
By the way, when I was Cayman, I enjoyed the Ise-Shima Skyline from here, but this time it's scarier as it is winding, so I went straight to the Isewan Ferry platform in Toba using the high speed.
I feel like a truck driver.
Hmmm, nostalgic. The day will come when I will take the ferry from here. The ferry is also the first experience for children!
When you get on the ferry, the price of "6m or less" is applied.
Again, it seems that I was the one who was excited, saying, "Look, look! You see, I'm going to get on the boat with my car !!".
The children responded with a "he", but when they got into the ferry with the car, got out of the car and moved into the ship, they said "Ah, they got into the ship with the car and they themselves. Can you be in the ship? " I was enjoying the ship.
Even if you hear "ferry", children don't know. It was also the moment when I thought that everything had experience.
Moreover, the ship is also quite chartered. The four people sitting at the front of this ship are all my family ...
While gazing at the beautiful sea, I enjoyed relaxing for about an hour (while I was there, I went out to the deck for the first time to take pictures, and I was blown by the wind and enjoyed talking about it, but after that, everyone fell asleep. (smile)).
I never thought that it would be the end of the year when I was suddenly shaken by a ship on such a sea. In my first plan, I just had a little trial stay at the foot of Mt. Fuji ... ^^
After the ferry arrives in Irago, Aichi Prefecture, we will run toward Hamamatsu.
Previously, when I took the same road, even if I could see Lake Hamana, the view from the passenger seat was almost a wall, so I couldn't see it very well, but this time it's different.
I was able to see Lake Hamana perfectly.
Lake Hamana is on the left and the sea is on the right. The view is really good when the seats are high! !! it's the best.
Actually, I was planning to go back to Tokyo as it is, but when I was in the passenger seat, I greedily searched for "I wonder if I can do something in Hamamatsu", and as a result I found this ...
That's right, there is an eel pie factory, so I decided to stop by ~ ^ ^
In this way, even though I hadn't decided anything in advance, it was nice to have a trip where I would take it easy if there was something like "Oh, it's just open".
Even if the kids don't know where to go, they don't mind because they are having a good time in the camper van.
"Where are you going next?" "I'm going home" (a few minutes later) "Oh, I'm going to the eel pie factory!" "Okay!" The whole family is no longer reluctant to wander like Tora-san (laughs).
You can also visit the eel pie factory, and even though the factory tour is free, you can even get eel pie, and you can buy a lot of souvenirs, which is very satisfying.
By the way, there is such an exhibition in the factory. "What do you mean by eel pie night sweets?"
The answer is, "I want you to have a moment with your family." That was it! !! I was wondering if it meant something more impure ... what I was thinking.
So, when I said goodbye to the eel pie factory at the very end, I was buying ice cream at the ice cream shop outside.
Then, although it was sunny until then, the sky was sunny, but the rain suddenly fluttered a little. When I saw it and said, "In such a weather, a rainbow usually appears," and immediately after that, if you turn around, you will see a beautiful rainbow! !! !!
Moreover, this is a double rainbow when you look at it.
I told the shop staff that "a rainbow is coming out !!" and shared the excitement with the shop staff as "wow".
Furthermore, the ice cream that I was asking for was completed there. This was exactly "double rainbow" ↓
I was excited and pleased with the shop staff, saying, "If you asked for a double rainbow, you got a double rainbow !!" It was a really nice production to nature, and everything was the best ^^
After that, I returned to my home in Tokyo as it was, but after experiencing various things, I can't believe that these were the events of only one night and two days from December 29th to 30th.
But when I think about it, I haven't even taken a bath (laughs), so I went home and took a bath break. If it's not a corona, I think it's a good idea to take a hot spring somewhere along the way, but this time I stopped.
Refueling a camper
One last. It was when I refueled my camper.
The explanation of the gasoline refueling port was also explained by the car rental company's older brother, so I tried it as I was told.
The cap of the fuel filler was locked, so after unlocking it, I was able to twist the cap to open it.
Since the lid part is not connected to the fuel filler port, the lid must be completely removed before refueling. So I noticed this "cap holder" for the first time. There was such a space! !! I did not know at all.
"Cap holder" to use for the first time. Somehow happy ^^ (I still have the key attached, but I did not leave it in this state, so just in case)
Gasoline is regular.
I heard that it would be difficult to fill up the tank if I pushed it all the way to the back, so I had to refuel with a slight pull.
This is the end of our first camper van 1 night 2 day experience, but our conversation that we have already tasted here is "Where are you going next? I still rent it, so I can go anywhere. Yeah! "
I'm ready to go somewhere. The children seemed to like the camper van, saying, "Go, go!"
Of course. Just playing around in the car or sleeping, the outside world is just a world I have never seen before. Especially at this time of Corona, I often stayed at home, so it seems to be a very good refreshment.
so! Also, if you take a bath at home for only one night and it becomes beautiful, you will go on a further trip ^ ^
It will continue ~.
