BMW Motorsport Festival 2019

There are events in quick succession, and the story goes back and forth, but I went to BMW's "BMW Motorsport Festival 2019" held at Fuji Speedway on June 23, 2019.

This time is Porsche 911 Carrera. Ah, Black Carrera is cool ... (I can't help but stop myself ^^).

I ran to FSW three times in 13 days. No, it's fun ^^

On this day, my husband had something to do, so I took my children (rarely ??) and went with me and 3 children.

After arriving at FSW, on this day, in the case of general participation like me (this time I did not buy a lounge pass or anything that can be purchased in advance, I participated only with the parking fee on the day) It was only admission from the west gate So, enter from the west gate.

The parking lot was parked on P15, just off there. Anyway, it's natural, but since there are many BMWs, I quietly parked at the back of P15.

The child pointed out that he just wanted to stop next to the cool 640i, pretending to be in the back, refraining from the BMW people. Sharp (laughs).

Since I have children, I tried using the shuttle bus to get to the main venue from P15. Hmm, this is convenient. It was helpful.

Finally arrived at the main venue. I've been to this BMW FSW event before, but I haven't been there in the last few years so I'm not used to it and I don't know what to start with.

For the time being, while saying "I came to let the children play" (?), I want to test drive and ride a racing car in my heart! Full of thoughts.

Many circuit driving and riding programs are drawn on the day

I told the children, "First of all, mom, there is something I have to do, so please wait !!" and ran to apply for the lottery on the day. Selfish explosion. Well, it's the usual thing for children (laughs)?

The first aim is "SPECIAL TEST DRIVE".

Yes, this is a program that allows you to ride on various BMW M models and run the FSW main course yourself.

And since I was able to apply for more than one, I also applied for "BMW M TAXI DRIVE". Although you can't drive by yourself, you can ride on various M models driven by professional drivers and drive on the racing course.

It seems that there were other programs such as driving lessons with pre-registration.

Ah, I wonder if it hits one of them. With expectations, I can only see the winning results at the winning announcement time, so I will play with the children for a while.

Just off the lottery application location, Shell Sekiyu's "Shell V-PowerThere is a booth where even children can participate in the lottery, so we will line up with children who want to draw.

The new 8 Series 850i xDrive, the Z4 M40i, and even the Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge, casually in the hands of BMW.

Also on display are two motorcycles. The left is "Sports HP4 Race" and the right is "S1000RR".

There are other classic cars like this. The left side is the BMW 3.0 CSL, a 1973 car. And on the right is the 1981 BMW M1.

There was also a goods sales corner, and cute kids cars were also on sale. If my child is small, I might buy it ^^

These two cars will be the cars used in the "racing car taxi" which was also the main event that was the lottery on the main stage of the day.

The racing car taxi is a special program that rides on an M racing car that you can not usually ride and runs on the racing course, and the special test drive that I applied for earlier is a lottery like putting an application form in the application box. This race singer taxi has only the main event, and lottery tickets will be distributed on the main stage at a fixed time, and Seiji Ara will choose the winning number on the main stage.

If you are excited to see these two cars and say, "It's cool !!", the first 27 children will be able to experience mechanics using this car.

Mechanic experience with a BMW racing car

It was forced to participate by saying "line up !!" without confirming the children's intentions (laughs). No, the kids were having fun too ^^! !!

First of all, let me open the hood of M6 GT3. Remove the parts that are stopped at 3 places.

The car with the hood removed looks like this. By the way, since it was after driving this car and the circuit fully open, it is dangerous for children to touch, so please replace only this front wheel with a new one so that children can touch it (not hot). It was said that.

Team Studie secretly (?) Told me, "I haven't replaced the rear wheels, so it's still warm!", So I touched it. Hmm, it was a little warm and still a little petty ^^

I wonder if there are not many people who want to ride even adults.

After that, I pretended to remove the tires of the center lock (children's mechanic experience), but my brothers, I was excited to hear and see various things, saying that I wanted to get in the car. No, I was so excited (laughs)? ?? But a little touching. Thank you ^^ A strange person who had an unclear delusion in his head, "If the day comes when I should remove the center lock of Porsche 911 GT3 by myself, I wonder if it will be like this."

I couldn't actually remove the center lock tires, but I was able to move this machine rattlingly, so I was allowed to do that as well. No, it was kind of fun.

Oh yeah, a child found on the way. "There is a face in such a place." It's true. There is such a hidden character in M6GT3 (laughs). I thought it was a place I wouldn't notice unless I was looking at a child. And the Team Studie who posted this is cute ^ ^

After all carbon / carbon ceramic is light

After finishing the mechanic experience, I was very satisfied and went outside again. The other thing that made me excited was when I went to the place where various parts were placed.

There was a carbon roof here, but it was really light! It's amazing! It feels like you can easily lift it with one hand.

And when I was impressed with such a carbon roof, the older brother who was at the exhibition said, "Please compare this!" And gave me a carbon ceramic brake and an ordinary brake.

The blackish one in the back is carbon ceramic, and the one in the foreground is normal ↓. The weight of carbon ceramic is much lighter than that of ordinary people, which is quite difficult to lift with both hands.

According to my brother, the normal weight is about 15 kg, but the carbon ceramic weighs about 7.5 kg, which is about half. Even so, I was surprised to think that this ordinary brake has such a heavy weight on the four car bodies.

There are various events that you can enjoy with your children as a family

After that, I will introduce various things that children could play.

First of all, it runs the course decided by BMW's mountain bike. There is no age limit, so anyone who can ride a bicycle can participate. Therefore, everyone from small children to adults participated.

A slalom course is created, and you can ride a mountain bike through it, and finally run on a single wooden board. The time of this course was measured, and if you could finish the race without touching your feet, you could get a souvenir (notepad).

I've been watching it, and the average time is around 1 minute and 50 seconds. However, there was one dad who was extremely fast, and he set a great record of 53 seconds. I was a little impressed to be present when the record was set ^^

The rest is Fun Park here. I was able to do face painting (free of charge).

I asked them to draw the children, the BMW mark, the flowers, and the spider, but while drawing the BMW, "This is a Lamborghini event, it's hard to draw one logo (laughs)." I laughed and talked with my sister who was drawing, but at that time I was talking about "Which manufacturer is the easiest to draw with face paint?"

When I was excited with the children, my sister said, "The easiest thing I've actually done in the past was ... Audi."

Certainly ~. It's four 〇, and after all, the manufacturer name is easy with AUDI. I was convinced ^^

Other experiences include riding a strider for small children and pulling a car on your own.

I want to do my home too! However, I gave up because it was lined up for a while.

And ... In the middle of these activities, the winning announcement (posting) of the circuit run I applied for was being made, so every time I ran to confirm the winning number, saying "I'm sorry, I'll see the announcement!" I was there.

Winning announcements will be posted like this (except for the lottery on the main stage). Isn't it like announcing the passing of an exam (laughs)? I was thrilled.

The winning numbers are on the left, and the whiteboards on the right are the winning numbers waiting for cancellation. I was wondering if this notice waiting for cancellation would make me feel like "I hope you will pass the exam in advance !!"

I would like to write about the lottery for the "racing car taxi" that was held on the main stage, which was the main event of the day and the main lottery item.

For the time being, after finishing this event, I took the shuttle bus to P15 and went back home. The children seemed to enjoy themselves a lot, and 11 minutes after starting the car, they all fell asleep ^^.

Even though I left Fuji Speedway halfway around 16:00, I was glad that I was able to return to my home in Tokyo in just over two hours without being so congested. For me, who loves driving alone, it was great because the children fell asleep and I was able to go home as if I were driving alone.

Shortly before I entered Tokyo and went home, the last bus mark I met was like a BMW (laughs). The positions of blue and white are opposite.

It was a fun day.

It's been a while since I took my kids to a car event, but it was a lot of fun. ... No, I was so entertained that I felt like the kids were "dating with my mom" (laughs).
