Taycan and Cayenne "Black Edition": Pre-orders start on July 10, 2025

The Black Editions of the Taycan and Cayenne have been announced, and pre-orders have begun in Japan from July 10, 2025.

What is the Black Edition? Let's take a look at what was announced:

• The Black Edition features exclusive exterior and interior features, as well as numerous high-quality equipment.
• In particular, the Taycan has the advantage of extending the driving range by being equipped with a large-capacity battery.
• The Taycan Black Edition is available in two types: Sports Sedan and Sports Turismo (※Only Sports Sedan is available in Japan)
• The Cayenne Black Edition is available in two versions: a classic SUV and an elegant SUV coupe.
• The Taycan and Cayenne special edition models will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK from July 10-13, 2025.
• Deliveries will begin in the second half of 2025 (the situation in Japan is currently unknown).

• Black accents on the exterior and interior enhance the sporty and elegant look of the Black Edition model
• The Taycan comes with the Sport Design package, side window trim and rear model logo in high-gloss black.
• High gloss black exterior mirrors available only on the Black Edition when combined with other exterior paint finishes
• Rear light strip with black illuminated Porsche logo as standard
• Also includes black interior accent package, storage package, and black brushed aluminum door entry guards (illuminated).

• The large-capacity Performance Battery Plus, which is optional for the Taycan and Taycan 4, is now standard on the Taycan Black Edition model
• The large total energy capacity of 105 kWh benefits both driving performance and range (WLTP).

• For the Cayenne, the Sport Design package, exterior package, exterior mirrors, the Porsche logo and the model logo on the rear are all finished in high-gloss black.
• The interior is further enhanced by a black brushed aluminium interior package.

• Porsche is also adding the following to the standard equipment of both model series:
  • 21-inch wheels with full-color Porsche Crest centre caps
  • HD Matrix LED headlights (tinted for Cayenne Black Edition)
  • LED door projector that displays the Porsche logo
  • Front comfort seats with Porsche Crest in the head restraints (14-way electric adjustment and memory function)
  • BOSE® Surround Sound System including Dolby Digital (Taycan comes with Electric Sports Sound)
  • Storage package
  • Smooth black leather trim
  • The Taycan's center console is equipped with a special badge marked "Black Edition."

The Black Edition model isn't just black

• Even though it's a black edition, black doesn't have to be the base color.
• All colors in the Shade category are available for the Taycan at no extra cost, including Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Gray Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic and Ice Gray Metallic.
• Cayenne color choices include Quartzite Gray Metallic, Vanadium Gray Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Carrara White Metallic.
• You can also choose from Legend, Dream, Shade, and Contrast categories, as well as use the Paint to Sample and PTS Plus programs.
• Interior options include slate grey leather and a two-tone design.

Extended Black Edition Package

• The Extended Black Edition package includes "Black Edition" lettering on the front doors, illuminated door entry guards with the same lettering, a vehicle key set with a special case, and more.
• You can also customise numerous interior components, such as keys and cases, reversible luggage compartment mats, floor mats, vehicle documentation folder, centre console storage compartment lid and door entry guards.

• Options available for the Taycan and Cayenne are displayed as personalization symbols in the Porsche Car Configurator and can be viewed in real time.
