The third car in the Heritage Design Strategy
At this annual meeting, Porsche said the following about the future of the 911:
Porsche plans to offer more emotional derivatives of the 911

This includes some exciting limited edition models that are highly profitable.

It is the third of four collector's cars produced by Heritage Design Strategy.

" I see.

Here, we first get an answer to a question that has been bothering us for a while: "At this point in time, only two heritage models have been released under the Heritage Design Strategy."
The following two cars were clearly stated by Porsche to be "Heritage Design Strategy models."

It was originally announced in 2020 that a total of four Heritage Design Strategy cars would be released, but since then only two have been released, it's possible that
I wondered if these were Heritage Design Strategy models when each model was announced, but even after the official announcement, there was no mention of them being related to the Heritage Design Strategy.
After that911 Turbo 50th Anniversary Model (911 Turbo 50 Years)was announced, and although a Heritage Design Package is available as an option for this model, it is not included in the Heritage Design Strategy.

Just when we were wondering when the next one would be, there has finally been official news about the third model based on the next Heritage Design Strategy.
By the way, the first Targa was the 911 Targa 4S, which adopted design elements from the 1950s and 1960s, while the second was the Sport Classic, which features the ducktail spoiler of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7.
And the third car that will be released next is said to be "a revival of the 1970s style", but since the Carrera RS 2.7 homage has already been announced in Sports Classic, it is thought that it will be a 930 type turbo? But that was also done somehow in the Turbo 50 Years... Next is the 911SC?

Well, I don't know anything about the 1970s, so I'm looking forward to the day it's released.
911 flagship model to be announced in the medium to long term
The annual general meeting also announced that "in the medium term, the 911 family will welcome a further flagship model."
The flagship model is said to "further raise the bar in the sports car segment," but no other details have been released at this time.
One rumored model is that this flagship model will be the "GT2/GT2 RS."

The Speedster probably wouldn't be called a "flagship," and talking about the Turbo seems a bit off given the current trend, so maybe it's the GT2/GT2 RS after all?

I'm looking forward to this too ^^
