Winner of the top award in the sports car category
The Porsche 911 received the award from S&P Global Mobility, an American industry leader in market intelligence, analysis and loyalty analytics, recognizing that the Porsche 911 will earn the highest model royalties of any vehicle in the sports car segment in 2024.
This marks the second consecutive year that a Porsche 911 has received this award, and the ninth time in total since 2001.

The S&P Global Mobility Automotive Loyalty Award is open to Porsche 911s registered in the 2024 calendar year.
"Model royalty" basically refers to whether a household buys a new car and then subsequently purchases/leases the same model again.
In my case, since I bought my first Porsche 911, I've continued to buy several 911s, so my model royalties are really high.
A total of 15 sports cars competed in this award, with the Porsche 911 coming in first.
Here are the results. It's a shame that they didn't win as a manufacturer. Tesla is doing great!
