Porsche sales in Q1 2025: 71,470 units

Porsche has announced its worldwide sales figures for the first quarter of 2025 (January to March). The total number of Porsche sales is 71,470 units.

This figure is -7.941 TP1T compared to the same period last year. Last year's Q1 sales volume was 77,640 units.

Of the Porsche deliveries in Q1 2025, 38.51 TP1T were electric vehicles, with 25.91 TP1T being fully electric vehicles and 12.61 TP1T being plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Macan performs well in Q1 2025

Among the six current Porsche model series, the one with the largest increase over the same period last year was the Panamera, with an increase of 271 TP1T over the same period last year.

Next was the Macan, which increased by 141 TP1T compared to the same period last year, making it the best-selling car in terms of units in Q1 2025.

What's noteworthy about this Macan is that more than 60% (14,185 units) of those shipped in Q1 were full EV models.

The 718's sales figures were a disappointing 221 TP1T down compared to the previous year, but this was due to sales restrictions imposed by European cybersecurity regulations.

Sales of the 911 are also down compared to the previous year, but this is due to strong final sales of the 992.1 last year and the fact that the 992.2 is still being introduced in stages.

North America is a strong market

Looking at figures by sales region, sales in North America were strong, with worldwide shipments down approximately 81 TP1T compared to the previous year, while North America alone was up 371 TP1T compared to the previous year.

This growth in North America is being compared against the same period last year, when there was a large decline in sales due to delivery delays for some model lines due to import-related reasons, so it is not a figure to be completely happy about, but it still represents a significant recovery and increase.

The Chinese market continues to decline as has been the case recently.

Looking ahead to the remainder of the year 2025, Matthias Becker, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, said:

"Porsche's product line-up is very new and attractive, and customer demand remains strong. At the same time, Porsche is investing in its brand and product portfolio to be able to flexibly respond to customer requirements. Porsche works closely with its various sales regions and continues to focus on matching demand and supply in line with Porsche's 'Value over Volume' strategy."
