The winning bidder will not only receive a 911 S/T, but also a limited edition S/T Porsche Design watch
Porsche Cars North America (PCNA), i.e. Porsche in North America, has announced that they have partnered with RM Sotheby's to auction a Porsche 911 S/T, with proceeds going to the American Red Cross's work in the United States, particularly in supporting the victims of the recent California wildfires.
The 911 S/T being auctioned has serial number 1,919 out of a limited run of 1,963 units.

This is the only 911 S/T sold from Porsche's North American in-house vehicle pool to date, and is said to be the last one yet to be allocated to a customer in the United States.
The auction will be held on RM Sotheby's online-only auction platform.
There are many people involved in this auction, including some who offered to support it in order to raise awareness of it.Orlando Bloomor RM Sotheby's, which decided to waive its usual fees in order to maximize the amount that reaches the American Red Cross.

"The work of the American Red Cross has become even more important in recent weeks as many parts of LA have been devastated by wildfires. We're proud to be able to directly help fund the American Red Cross in LA and across the country by selling a car that's close to our hearts."

Since the LA fires began, the American Red Cross has provided more than 102,000 relief items to victims, including shelter for more than 14,500 people, 128,000 meals and snacks, flashlights, face masks, water and other necessities.
"We are incredibly grateful to our partners, like Porsche North America and RM Sotheby's, who are coming together to provide relief and hope to our communities in the wake of this devastating disaster," said Anne McKeough, chief development officer for the American Red Cross.

As for this auction, 1,00% of the proceeds will be donated directly to wildfire victims through the American Red Cross via RM Sotheby's Sealed platform, so bidders can bid with peace of mind (for charity).

This model is custom made to fit each car and incorporates the lightweight design features adopted in the design of the 911 S/T, which features a titanium case.

Details of the 911 S/T being offered
The 911 S/T being offered for sale has been broken in for a total of approximately 1,500km in Europe, a process that includes visual and mechanical checks of every aspect of the vehicle.
The vehicle is not yet registered.

The design comes with the optional Heritage Design Package commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911, and the color is Shore Blue Metallic exclusive to that option.
The wheels are also a Ceramica color exclusive to this model.

The classic style Porsche Crest of the original 911 is featured on the front, wheel centre caps, steering wheel, head restraints and car key.
This vehicle is equipped with a 518 horsepower 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.
The interior features classic cognac cloth upholstery and full bucket seats with black pinstripe down the center.

It is finished with two-tone black/classic cognac semi-aniline leather trim and extensive leather surround, perforated dynamic louvre lining and other Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur elements.
