Why did I dare to go to Chiba in Tokyo? By the way, this Porsche Center Chiba was close to Makuhari, which I go to relatively often, and it was the closest Porsche Center to the Porsche Experience Center in Kisarazu in the future, so I was interested. ^^

Until now, I knew almost nothing about the situation of Porsche Center in Chiba Prefecture, so this time "Porsche Center Chiba is open" means that "Porsche Center Chiba" will be made for the first time. I was convinced.

But actually it wasn't. sorry. It seems that "Porsche Center Chiba" already existed until now.

However, the existing PC Chiba is operated by Family Co., Ltd. It is said that Yanase Seprest Auto Co., Ltd. will be operated in the future, and the location will be moved and reborn.

By the way, PC Chiba, which was operated by Family Co., Ltd., and PC Ichikawa, which was also operated by the company, were closed at the same time, and the operations of these two stores are the Porsche Center, which is another store of Family Co., Ltd. It was transferred to Kashiwa.

Since the name of the operating company is "Yanase", the first thing that came to my mind was Mercedes-Benz, but this store, the predecessor was Mercedes (the photo below is before refurbishment: from Google Maps)

The site of the new Porsche Center Chiba was roughly divided into four buildings (areas).

• Building with Porsche certified used car exhibition etc.
• Service workshop
• Indoor parking lot

First of all, when you enter PC Chiba, you can see the main building on your right, in front of the photo below (it's far from the site because it's large ... (laughs)).

It was said that the Grand Opening Fair of PC Chiba will be held from January 11, 2020, but I went ahead of the opening fair.

Even so, the store itself was already open, so many Porsche were already on display in the store and I was able to see it.

There is also the new Porsche 911 (992), and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe.

What surprised me first when I entered PC Chiba is that this is the only one.

What I thought was amazing about this PC Chiba certified used car center was that there was a glass-enclosed room with a lift inside the building.

Here, the owner and advisor can check and consult with the owner and advisor while lifting the car etc. that has arrived in PC Chiba with a lift (if necessary). That's right.

Lastly, it was announced that a Taycan quick charger will also be installed here at Porsche Center Chiba, so I would like to visit the Taycan quick charging station this time. That was one of the reasons.

But unfortunately it hasn't been installed yet.

However, it seems that all the wiring for installing the quick charger is already crawling under the road surface of PC Chiba, so it seems that it can be completed just by installing the Uwamono station.

I wanted to see it ~. Well, that's another opportunity.

Get lost in "Old Porsche Center Chiba"

As an aside, I first wrote that "I made a mistake and went to the old PC Chiba store first."

At that time, I was completely convinced that I had arrived at the new PC Chiba, but when I actually arrived at the place that was the old PC Chiba, the building was covered like construction. Regardless, I understood that "Oh, it's still before the opening fair, so it's not completely completed" and went to the parking lot.

The front entrance seemed to be under construction, so is it the back entrance? I entered from.

Even after arriving at the parking lot, it doesn't look like it's open at all, so I didn't know what to do, and when I called PC Chiba, the salesman said that he would go to the parking lot. wait.

While I was waiting, the slope (short but ^^) when entering this parking lot from the back seemed to be quite a slope, so I quickly measured the slope during my spare time.

Hahaha.Gradient measurement after a long time.. I can't deny that I was a little excited (laughs).

As a result of the measurement, the most dangerous slope end was about 12.1%, so if you go slowly, there is no problem.

However, there was 15.6% around the middle of the slope, so GT3 might be quite nervous.

Even if I measure the slope of the slope, the sales person does not come easily. that's strange. For the time being, it seems to be under construction, but I went to the building.

After all, if something came before the opening fair, it might have been a nuisance because it was still under construction ... and various things ran around in my brain ... and there was a way like a sales person.

... Yes, I finally found out, "Oh, this is an old store!" (Laughs). What should I express my feeling of "What ?!" at that time ...

At that time, I learned for the first time that "there was PC Chiba, and it was relocated under new management." I think that the old PC Chiba was also surprised when a strange person suddenly visited. I'm sorry ^^

I wonder if the Porsche who were here will be taken over by PC Kashiwa in the future ...?
