* Soot, soot, soot, I'm sorry ... There are too many things I want to update, so I'm still in the blogPorsche rally eventDid not reach the goal. It's been late, but it's continued! It will be over soon (laughs).
The second day of the Porsche 911 "The Rally -Amazing Moment-" event held between Tokyo and Karuizawa from June 2nd (Sat) to 3rd (Sun), 2018. On the second day, there are few checkpoints and activities, and anyway, "Let's all manage to return to Tokyo before the highway is congested" seems to be the top priority, and we will proceed smoothly.
No, but if you really go on the way back, you will return to Tokyo using the Chuo Expressway, so if you enter the evening, it may be a weekend, so it is inevitable that you will be caught in heavy traffic.
In that case, I think that the goal and the after-party after that will be invisible, so I think that "going home early before the traffic jam" was a very important mission.
Well, that's why. After leaving Kiyosato Ranch, I used the highway until I went to the next checkpoint, the checkpoint of Katsunuma Winery. This is the only high speed I ran in this rally.
Porsche 911 is the best on any road!
It was a very slow and high speed centered on the downhill, so even if you dislike it, the speed will come out, but I think that Porsche people were very fast even if it was not related to such "because it is a downhill" ^ ^
That's really what I felt like I was left behind even for a moment, so I couldn't get rid of it when I followed, and I ran with a sense of tension all the time. This was also a very pleasant and enjoyable time! !!
Highways are often monotonous (just like straight), so even if I'm fast, I'm tired of it, or I sometimes think "it's just fast". However, if there was a fast "car to chase" in front of me, the fun would be doubled (laughs).
Even at this high speed, there was 911 who was enthusiastic about running in front of me, so I really enjoyed running, saying "Wow! I will chase you!" !! I can't be a pacemaker, but I like to chase after him ← annoying (laughs)? ??
As expected it is fast. It was a pleasant acceleration. At this rally event, I was always impressed that the Porsche 911 was a really wonderful car, whether it was on a general road, on a mountain road, or at high speed.
Arrived at Katsunuma Winery's Shanmori
We are arriving at Katsunuma Winery's Shanmori. Is there little parking space? Did the groups get together too much at once? It seems that the parking lot was a little confused because I was a little confused because of the teasing and there was also an activity here. … But this is also not a level of concern at all.
I'm really impressed that the people who run the car were able to handle this many cars well, taking into consideration the next action time for each group and whether or not they participated in the activity.
And what's wonderful is that even though I was standing in the blazingly hot sunshine without the shadow of the scorching sun, everyone always responded with a lovely smile when I saw the entrant. I think I'm really tired, but I'm impressed with the operation on the second day. Again, I was happy to meet someone from the Porsche Center that I knew.
PC (Chronometric Trial) activity
The activity here is the last of the three prepared during this rally, called "PC". It seems to be called "PC" or "chronometric trial", but I don't like it until I understand various things, so I wanted to know what this "PC" stands for, but I looked it up, but "Pass" Abbreviation for "control point"? No, it looks different ... I finally found the correct answer.
this"PC" is an abbreviation for "prove cronometrate" in Italianwas. So that's it. It seems to mean "time trial". Convinced.
Furthermore, although it was written as a chronometric trial, this also did not hit at all in English (Chronometric Trial). Will it be a Time Trial in the English-speaking world? But then I feel like I'm pointing to something different in the content of the competition. I wonder if it's an Italian prove cronometrate even overseas. I have a question. If anyone knows, please let me know ...
By the way, in Japanese, it is also called "line tread". Why does it look so cool in Japanese (laughs)?
PC activity competes for accuracy in passing a set transit point on time as described above. Here, it takes "5 seconds" from "start" to "PC1" point. In "6 seconds" from the "PC1" point to "PC2". Finally, it is OK if you can pass from "PC2" to "PC3" in "7 seconds". It's OK, or the person who is close to the number of seconds wins.
It was surprisingly difficult to run a certain distance in 5 seconds or 6 seconds because I didn't know when I crossed the line of the point. As amateurs, it might have been better if we didn't use our heads badly anymore and ran with luck ^^
The air-cooled people opened the back for a moment in the parking lot to cool the engine. It's hard ~.
By the way, Katsunuma Winery "Shanmori" where this PC activity was held is also the lunch venue on the second day, so it will be lunch from the person who arrived / the person who finished the activity.
Martini's 918 Spyder and Carrera GT welcome you
When I headed to the lunch venue ... Two cars were on display at the entrance. Martini's 918 Spyder, hybrid.
Oh, it's cool ~. Did you bother to bring this in for loading? ?? ?? I was surprised!
Hybrid model green brake caliper.
And here is the Carrera GT.
It's amazing ... These two cars reigned in front of the lunch venue entrance and welcomed the entrants. What a luxury at the very end.
Before returning home after lunch, there were some people who stopped their car between these two cars and took three shots with three cars. It will surely be a memorial! !!
By the way, here ↓ is the mount that stamps each checkpoint of the rally, but finally this stamp mount is also complete with the champagne here!
This was also the lunch venue for the second day, so it was like this inside. Well, in terms of the quality of the meal, I think it's the bottom of the rally ... But when I get here, my heart is in Tokyo, so there is no problem at all! Or rather,"Chasing main dish" for lunch and dinner on the first dayAnd I was too full, so I didn't have much appetite on the second day at this point ...
Porsche 911 keychain
further. Again, I almost forgot, but there was a sale of goods. The other day, an embarrassing experience where I said "please do this" without having moneyIt is a place to overcome (laughs).
Click here for the product you are looking for. 911 key chain. I also wanted a souvenir that I bought during the rally event.
I bought this key chain. Immediately, I removed what I had been wearing and attached the one I bought this time to my 911 key. Simple and cute ~.
Finally Porsche The Rally finishes at the Palace Hotel!
And. After leaving Katsunuma, I just ran at high speed, and finally Marunouchi arrived at the Palace Hotel! !! !!
The goal is to have a lot of people running and a companion, and a red carpet. The excitement of "Ah, it's a goal" is also impressive.
When I reached the goal, I got two rose flowers. Here, I thought it would be nice to give me two roses, not something like "You have completed the rally event" like a certificate! It's cool!
Porsche 911s wandering around Marunouchi ...
After scoring a goal, there will be a graduation ceremony where the final awards ceremony will be held, so you must stop the car first. However, the parking lot of the Palace Hotel, which is the venue, is already full, so I can't stop ...
So, originally it was "I will guide you to the nearby parking lot", but on the day I was simply refused "This (neighborhood parking lot) is out of the standard so I can not stop Porsche", and the Palace Hotel In front of it, Porsche 911, a parking refugee, appears one after another.
The tourists who saw this scene around and took a lot of pictures probably thought that Porsche had gathered and was holding an event like a parade run in the city of Marunouchi from now on. .. I wonder if no one thought that this situation was a gathering of refugees in the parking lot (laughs).
Eventually, we will stop at the premises of a nearby building, and after that, Porsche's management will valet park, saying, "We will stop at a parking lot somewhere." .. The people who run it are too hard! !! !!
* Moreover, at this time, there was a perfect timing for the "travel time of the imperial family" that could happen frequently in this area, and all the signals in the area were blocked. The side is temporarily in a big panic. ← When the imperial family is moved, police will appear from everywhere, and all the traffic lights of the imperial family's path will be blue, and the others will be red. There are quite a few such situations around here.
That's why the owners stopped the car, so we walked to the Wadakura Fountain Park Restaurant, which is adjacent to the Palace Hotel where the graduation ceremony is held. Following the graduation ceremony ...
