Python Green is here, Miami Blue is gone

First of all, the changes in body color are easy to understand.

From the 2021 model (N, MY21), "Python Green" has been added to the body color.

However, instead of that, the body color that has disappeared from MY21. That is the famous (?) "Miami Blue". Miami Blue is gone!

I do not know the truth of why it disappeared, but there were quite a few opinions from the owners of this Miami Blue, the area where the sunlight is strong, "Miami Blue is fading", and maybe Porsche is this color It is said that it may be the reason for canceling.

When Miami Blue is gone, bright blue is gone ... but there's a story here that has been rumored for some time now.That's right, the color "Shark Blue"..

It is darker than Miami Blue, but seems to be a lighter color than Gentian Blue.

But at the moment, this shark blue is still a mysterious color.

Many people confidently say that it will come out, but it is a color that has not come out even in MY21.

The name of this color appears and disappears ... Will it really come out someday ^^?

However, although I will refrain from posting it here, there is a description that "Shark blue will come out although the timing has not been decided yet" in the material about the MY21 model change in the American specification Porsche 992 that is leaking overseas. Certainly there is.

Comfort access is standard equipment

Comfort access is standard equipment from MY21.

So-called, even if you don't press the open / close button on the key, if you have the key, the door will open when you approach the car.

This is a feature that is too convenient, so I thought it was a must-have option, so I'm happy that it will be standard equipment.

Ambient light in 7 colors

Ambient light can be selected from 7 colors.

Well, I don't really feel the need for this, but I think it's a different taste, so I wonder if you like it!

In Porsche 911, it is good for those who like to enjoy 7 colors in the mood ^ ^

Front smart lift option

I wrote it before, A function that automatically lifts the front where it is better to raise the front on the road where you usually drive (detected by GPS).

However, this works only when driving at 20 mph (about 32 km) or less.

Tire temperature display added to sports chrono package

This is this.

If you select the Sports Chrono Package as an option, you can now see only the tire pressure, but now the "tire temperature" is also displayed.

Yeah, I think this is a very useful function for those who understand it, and even for people like me who do not understand anything, I am glad that there are more elements that can be enjoyed as "Oh, tire temperature like this?" ← No matter how you look at it, I don't think I need it (laughs).

Lane keep assist

It is said that Lane Keep Assist will be included in the premium package from MY21, but this is not relevant in Japan.

The video also talks about other changes to the premium package, but I will omit it because it seems that this package option itself is not relevant in Japan.

Lightweight glass

Lightweight glass option is also added.

Leather Package 930 / Alcantara is gone

Standard equipment on the Porsche 911 Turbo SSo, the doors and seats are stitched, the colors and materials are harmonized like Porsche 930 type, and the design option that looks like the style of the 930 turbo model.

Another big event in the interior is "Alcantara is gone".

For me, who loves Alcantara, I think it's "eh", but from this MY21, a material called Racetex has appeared instead of Alcantara.

What is this lace tex?It is a microfiber material that uses recycled polyester fiber.So, I think it's almost like Alcantara, isn't it?

It's a trademark registration difference, and I think the materials are similar, but what about?

Luggage stop is gone

This seems to be a fairly plain story, but there were quite a lot of people who said, "I'm in trouble if it disappears!"

I don't know if it disappeared from MY21 or it disappeared from a while ago, but it seems that this luggage stop has disappeared from MY21 anyway.

In my case, when I open the backrest of the rear seat, this partHiding the woofer ampSo (laughs), I usually do not open here, but surprisingly many Porsche 911 owners have this backrest tilted down and put their luggage.

Then, it seems that it is quite bad if this bulge that acted as a stopper to prevent the placed luggage from popping out in front disappears.

Aluminum look filler cap

Eh, wasn't this also an option until now? It is an aluminum-like fuel filler cap.

Until now, I was able to purchase it later, but I wonder if it wasn't selected as an option from the beginning. This is one of the things I want a little ^^

I can't usually see it, but I'm completely self-satisfied, but it's kind of nice.

Some changes to the leather finish of the interior

Others, which were largely omitted, are interior leather finishes such as leather floor mat options, rearview mirror leather finishes, dashboards, air outlet leather finishes, steering column leather finishes, etc. There seem to be some option changes in.

Rear fender stone guard & aluminum pedals

From MY21, an option to attach a stone guard to the rear fender has appeared. Rumors with matte black.

There is also an aluminum pedal option. This is also one of the options I'm particular about, though it's not seen by anyone ^^

Clear tail light

I don't know if this is a change from the 2021 model, but recently it is an option to clear this tail light that can be ordered.

I think it's called "Exclusive Design Tail Light" in Japanese configurators. I'm sure I'll put this on ^^

Also, it seems that there are other options such as making the gasoline tank 23.7 gallons, but is this not related to Japan? I thought, so I omitted it.
