Leather interior by Exclusive Manufaktur
It is a leather option (color) for the interior of the new Porsche 911, but when did this option by Exclusive Manufaktur, which seems to have added four new ones, have been available since?
At least not yet reflected in Japanese, American, and German configurators (as of April 20, 2020), but recently by the sudden appearance of British configurators, "Exclusive Manufaktur". Interior leather option.

This is the current screen of the Porsche Configurator in England ↓
At the bottom of the interior color options here is a new combination of four colors called "Exclusive Manufaktur Leather Interior" ↓
The type is:
- Black / Slate Gray: Black / Slate Gray
- Slate Gray / Iceland Green
- Graphite Blue / Mojave Beige
- Bordeaux Red / Crayon: Bordeaux Red / Crayon
I'd like to see all four because it's a big deal.
Black / Slate Gray: Black / Slate Gray
At first glance, it looked like "Hmm? Black?" On a dark screen, but if you look closely, it looks like black x slate gray.
If you look at the real thing, I think that it is quite different (there is a difference between black and gray).
Slate Gray / Iceland Green
This time a combination of slate gray and Icelandic green.
This combination is also a little brighter overall, but it has a calm color.
Graphite Blue / Mojave Beige
A combination of graphite blue and mojave beige, which is a combination of blue and beige instead of green.
This combination also feels calm.
Bordeaux Red / Crayon: Bordeaux Red / Crayon
And here is the fourth color combination, Bordeaux Red x Crayon.
When red color is added, it gives a slightly flashy impression, and the combined color is a crayon, so the inside of the car looks "bright and flashy" at once.
Regarding this Bordeaux red x crayon combination, when I was looking at opinions overseas, at first there was an opinion, "How about this combination? Isn't it a little subtle?"
In fact, when you glance at this combination of interior colors with the configurator like this, only the interior looks flashy ...
Bordeaux red x crayon interior in the actual car is nice
But! !!
There was a picture of the actual Porsche 992 Turbo S Cabriolet with the combination of this Exclusive Manufaktur leather interior option "Bordeaux Red x Crayon Color".
And this body color installed in the actual car is white (or crayon), and in the cabriolet ... This "Bordeaux red x crayon interior".
This is a very popular ^^

For those who like white body x red hood
It seems that there are quite a lot of people who like the combination of white & red that "body color is white x hood color is red" in the so-called Porsche cabriolet, and there is a sense of royal road.
With this interior color, it feels like the color combination of "even if you open the red hood and make it an open car, the body color is still white x red" is insisted. It is.
From the time I saw the actual car, it seems that there are many people who say, "When I saw it with the configurator, I was wondering what this color combination was, but if I made such a combination with the actual car, it would be pretty good!" ^^
Quite high option price
However, it might be a little expensive if you simply select these four new interior color options, "It's pretty good, so let's do this!".
After all, it seems that the following options are mandatory to choose this interior color option, with or without it:
- Exclusive Manufaktur Leather Interior Option: £ 7,899
- Sports Chrono Package: £ 1,683
- 18-way adaptive sports seat (with memory package): £ 2,315 (approx. 312,000 yen)
- Seat ventilation: £ 749
- Cup holder leather trim: £ 0 (¥ 0)
This time I'm looking at the configurator in the UK, so the price is calculated in pounds, but the total is roughly 1.7 million yen (£ 12,646)!
Of course, it doesn't really matter to those who originally chose Sports Chrono or 18-way seats, but for those who have not selected any of the above options, it costs 1.7 million yen just to choose this interior color ... ..
Finally, this time I tried to match the body color to the red side of the interior and made it a red body, but this may also be refreshing except for red x white ^ ^
Exclusive Manufaktur announces the above options
That's when I thought about writing the blog so far and uploading it.
What! Porsche's Exclusive Manufaktur has issued a press release on these four new color options.
Such a timing ... (laughs).
And what was even more surprising was the photo used in the press release. I think it's the same "Bordeaux Red x Crayon" as above, but the colors it looks like are completely different! !!
This is the color that was introduced in the press.
Bordeaux red is more reddish in the color that comes out in the configurator, but from this picture, it is really deep red like red wine. The crayon part is also quite grayish, which is the color of the so-called "crayon seen in the dark".
In the first place, the crayon looks whitish under bright light, and red may look more vivid red under bright light.
The two of these times are that we were able to compare the impressions of seeing this subtle "Bordeaux Red x Crayon", a car whose appearance changes depending on the brightness of the light, in bright light and dark light, respectively. I wonder if it was good ^^
And since the press release was announced on April 20, 2020, when I wrote this blog today, I wonder if this interior color option will appear in configurators in countries other than the UK in the near future.
With that in mind, the British configurator was quick to apply ^^
