After that, this aero kit was officially published in Porsche's configurator (* not yet in Japan: as of March 7, 2020) in December 2019.

And finally this time.

On March 5, 2020, Porsche Japan officially announced this aero kit in Japan as well. From March 5th, it is said that it will be available at Porsche authorized dealers all over Japan.

This aero kit is an option offered by the Porsche Exclusive Manufacturer and can be offered to all coupe versions of the Porsche 992 model series.

Aero kit is based on sports design package

By the way, one point to note? Although it is not, this aero kit will be based on the car of "sports design package", so in order to attach the aero kit, it is essential to select the option of the sports design package in the first place. is.

Therefore, according to the press release by Porsche Japan, if you add the aero kit package, the following will be installed:

• Front spoiler
• Fixed rear spoiler
• Fixed rear wing

The third brake light should also change

It wasn't mentioned in the announcement in Japan, but with this aero kit option, the third brake light on the rear should also change.

As you can see in the picture below, the red color (the light itself) where the third brake light is located is usually gone.

Porsche Aero Kit Price

As of March 7, 2020, I could not see this option again in the Porsche Japan configurator, so I do not know how much the price will be in Japan, but for the time being in the United States, this is The price of the aero kit option is "$ 6,910" (about 750,000 yen).

However, the price of the sports design package ($ 4,890 (about 53 yen)) is also included in the price, so if you subtract it purely, it feels like "$ 2,020 (about 220,000 yen)" with the aero kit alone. Will it be?
