Porsche from now on will be more urban
By 2021, six Porsche studios and 11 Porsche NOW pop-up stores were opened all over the world.
Looking at the numbers again, I was surprised that so many were opened. On average, one or more new sites have been opened each month.
Porsche seems to be currently focusing on creating a store that can provide such a new customer experience, and the store image is like a so-called brand store boutique.
By the way, not only in 2021, but looking at the whole, a total of 17 Porsche studios and more than 20 Porsche NOW have been opened in 23 countries so far, and new openings of these stores are scheduled to increase in the future. ..
According to the current plan, more than 25 Porsche studios will be located in major cities by 2023.
Hmm. Will this be possible in Tokyo in the future? How is it?
For the time being, Porsche Studio from North America will be opened in Portland, Oregon in the spring of 2022.
Is it Portland, Oregon? Uh, yeah, I was imagining a city like NY a little more ...
Anyway, Porsche seems to attach importance to "promotion in the city center" now, and of course it seems that Porsche wants to get younger people (= Porsche layer different from the past).
The styles of Porsche dealers currently announced by Porsche have been summarized, so I would like to take a look.
Porsche store styles are as follows:
Porsche Studios
An urban site with an emphasis on sales.
A place to provide high-quality experiences and opportunities to come into contact with the Porsche brand and its products. It is also possible to order Porsche individually and test drive.
It seems that it is positioned a little differently from the existing Porsche center, and this will be a "store with a new concept for the city center", and it will be a space where customers can immerse themselves in the Porsche brand more.
Porsche NOW sales pop-ups
While Porsche Studio is a permanent store, Porsche NOW is a limited-time shop.
In addition to the exhibition car, a place where you can experience Porsche goods, see Porsche exclusive manufacturing products, use VR experience, etc.
This is also open in Tokyo as Porsche NOW Tokyo.
Porsche NOW Tokyo ends January 31, 2022
Porsche NOW Tokyo, which is located in Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo, was originally held for a limited time from July 9, 2020 (Thursday) to August 31, 2021 (Tuesday) in conjunction with the Olympic Games held in Tokyo. It was supposed to be a shop.
However, due to the postponement of the Olympic Games, it will not close even after August 31, 2021, and it will be an opportunity to talk with Porsche Japan after August 31, which was the scheduled end date. I asked, "How long will Porsche NOW be done after all?", But at that time, I was still feeling "Hmm, I don't know" ^^
It is said that the end date has finally been decided, and Porsche NOW Tokyo will be closed on January 31, 2022. The Porsche Turbo Charging Station (CHAdeMO) installed in Porsche NOW will also end at the same time.
If you haven't visited yet, why don't you go visit once by January 31st?
You will not be able to go after that (By the way, it will be closed from December 29, 2021 to January 4, 2022).

Porsche Satellite Centers
This is a center for large Porsche dealer partners to expand their dealers when the market area is large.
This expansion center has a rectangular floor plan of about 400m.2It seems that it will be a one-story showroom, which is different from the conventional Porsche center.
Currently, this Porsche satellite center was opened in York in October 2021 as an expansion center of the Porsche center in Leeds, England. At least five satellite centers around the world are scheduled to open in 2022.
Porsche Approved & Service Center
This is the so-called Porsche certified used car center.
In the EBI group that I am indebted toSetagaya Certified Used Car Center,Koishikawa Certified Used Car Center,Roppongi Certified Used Car CenterEtc. correspond to this store format ... I wonder.
Porsche Service Factory
This is the Porsche Center has a service center as a separate site.
Customers can drop their car at each Porsche Center when depositing a car, and then it seems that the car will be taken to our service factory by staff for work.
Porsche Center Ginza goes under another company
Well, last but not least, it seems that the management body of Porsche Center Ginza will be changed as information that may be a little related to people in Tokyo.
However, it seems that it is not a story that it will be acquired by a completely different company, and I can imagine from the contents of the announcement that PC Aoyama, Meguro, Ginza (and each certified used car center) were originally. It feels like another new company was established under the managed EBI group, and each PC was divided under each company.
→ The change is from February 1, 2022, and the correct answer is "Partial succession of business through company absorption-type split."
The newly established company is "Epocal International Co., Ltd."
Since it was just established in December 2021 this month, and the representative director is also a member of the EBI Group, is it something like the following? I predict it without permission ^ ^
In other words, is this something like this?
- Excellence International Co., Ltd. → PC Aoyama & Setagaya Certified Used Car Center
- Bright International Co., Ltd. → PC Meguro & Roppongi Certified Used Car Center
- Epocal International Co., Ltd. → PC Ginza & Koishikawa Certified Used Car Center
Regarding the structure of the EBI group including this PC Ginza company change, I just read it without permission, I did not confirm it with the Porsche Center or EBI, so it is just my imagination ^ ^!
Well, I don't think it's going to be a big change from the customer's point of view (because it's not a completely different company that has nothing to do with it).
The only thing I'm wondering is what will happen to the wrapping of the vehicle when it participates in the race as an EBI group in the future? That is.
Until now, the bonnet had two company names, and depending on the car, the names of Excellence and Bright were on the left and right respectively, but in the future ... I wonder what to do with the other ^ ^
