New Cayenne GTS model unveiled in 2023

The new Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupe were announced on April 22, 2024. Orders for the new Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupe began in Japan on this day.

What is the Porsche GTS model?

At Porsche, the GTS model stands for Gran Turismo Sport, signifying improved dynamics and long-distance driving performance.

• The new GTS and GTS Coupe are equipped with a 368kW (500PS) V8 twin-turbo engine.
• A model that combines a performance-oriented yet practical chassis system, distinctive design elements and comprehensive standard equipment.
• At its core, the Cayenne is both a high-performance sports car and an all-terrain SUV, but in the GTS models, this balance has traditionally shifted towards improved on-road capability.
• The new Cayenne GTS stays true to this principle while also being suitable for everyday use thanks to its powerful drive system, precise tuning and exclusive design.

Cayenne Turbo GT chassis technology

• The precisely honed GTS-specific chassis and 10 mm lower ride height define an exciting evolution of the Cayenne GTS.
• Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and adaptive air suspension including Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) are standard equipment.
• All chassis components and control systems, such as Porsche Traction Management (PTM) and the optional Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), are specially designed for optimum performance on the road.

• The GTS's two-valve damper technology provides excellent responsiveness, while the two-chamber air suspension ensures driver comfort while giving the car highly dynamic spring rates.
• The front axle pivot bearings for the Cayenne GTS models are taken from the Cayenne Turbo GT (not available in Europe)
• Compared to other Cayenne models, the wheels have 0.58 degrees more negative camber.
• The result is incredibly agile cornering and exceptional handling dynamics.

Equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine

• In addition to the finely tuned chassis, the charismatic V8 is also a key feature of the Cayenne GTS.
• Developed by Porsche and built in Zuffenhausen, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has undergone significant technical improvements.
• This increases efficiency and significantly improves performance.
• Maximum output is 368kW (500PS), 30kW (40PS) more than the previous model, and maximum torque is 40Nm more, at 660Nm.
• The revised eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission delivers faster response and shift times in Sport and Sport Plus modes, significantly improving driving performance.

• The new Cayenne GTS goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds
• Maximum speed is 275km/h
• A further technological innovation is that the transfer box of the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive has a separate water-cooling circuit.
• This technology has also been adopted from the high-performance model Cayenne Turbo GT, and stabilizes continuous load-bearing capacity when driving on circuits and winding roads.

GTS style exclusive design and equipment

• Porsche GTS models are instantly recognizable thanks to their unique, sporty design.
• The Cayenne GTS features black "GTS" logos on both sides and the rear of the vehicle, a special front end with large cooling air intakes, dark tinted headlights and taillights, and red brake calipers.
• There are also some innovations
  • Body attachments such as side skirts, front inlays, side window trims and wheel arch extensions that are part of the standard Sport Design package are painted in high-gloss black (on the previous GTS model, some of these body parts were body-colored).
  • The tailpipes of the sports exhaust system have been changed from black to dark bronze.
  • The Porsche GTS model range is rounded off by the addition of 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in anthracite grey.

• The seat's side bolsters are now deeper, providing more lateral support when cornering.

  • Lightweight package including lightweight roof, carbon rear diffuser and reduced insulation saves up to 25kg

• European deliveries are scheduled to begin in summer 2024.
