Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid to be Porsche's most powerful SUV model

On August 29, 2023, Porsche announced the new Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid.

This model is said to be Porsche's most powerful SUV model and the second of three hybrid models that Porsche will introduce in 2023.

In addition, this model will also sell "Cayenne Coupe with GT Package" given to "only markets where Cayenne Turbo GT is not sold".

*Because there is no sales of Cayenne Turbo GT in the Japanese market, Japan is the target country where the GT package of this Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe is sold.

The commonality between the 296 V6 + PHEV and the AMG C63 straight 4 + PHEV is that the market has not accepted them. When 992 came out, I was told that space for HV was already prepared.
I asked a Toyota engineer, and the answer was that it would be difficult to create a mild HV with the size of the 992.
The only thing that can be done is to crush the rear seat, but with weight and distribution, it may become a 911 with the front floating at 200 kg like the old days. If we were to use an electric turbo like Mercedes, we would need to make major improvements to the ICE, which would be difficult in the current environment.

If you go from a 994 RR to an ICE vertically mounted MR and sacrifice the rear seat, you can do anything with a 911.
