After all Porsche 992 is a Bad Boys car
The TV commercial video "HEIST" that Porsche will air at NFL Super Bowl 2020, which was released the other day.
This making video has been released, so I would like to see it. * The video is at the bottom of the page.
When I saw Heist, I thought, "Isn't this Gentian blue metallic Porsche 992 used in the Bad Boys 3 with a handbrake?", But that was exactly the case. I understand that it is refreshing ^ ^
Then, I would like to see this video "Inside the HEIST".
You can see the contents of the TV commercial that was aired here:

Porsche's CM shooting site is Germany
It seems that this HEIST was shot on the first day in Schwarzenbach, Germany (shooting while driving).
The outside temperature on the first day of shooting was 37F (about 2.8 ℃). Cold!
The shooting location on this day was the Schwarzenbach Dam, where the stolen Taycan was blocked by Porsche 992 and other Porsche and the criminal was secured.
This CM (video) is for the NFL Super Bowl, which is a huge event for the United States, so it is quite necessary to make it "valued" for both the Super Bowl and Porsche. It seems that he was enthusiastic about shooting.
In fact, the influence of the commercials aired during the Super Bowl is tremendous.
A company that was good at commercials and a company that became a commercial that was criticized as "what is this commercial", the feelings that the American people have for that company will change considerably for a moment. An influential broadcast frame in which commercials have a significant influence on the corporate image.
Porsche says that not only is it worthwhile, but the content must also be "interesting" (the commercials in the Super Bowl are mostly comedy and interesting), so let's race various Porsche ... Considering that, he decided that it was most appropriate to set the shooting location in Germany.
Yes, because the Home of Porsche is Germany, the shooting is still in Germany.
Indeed, here in Germany, there is also the Porsche Museum, which is decorated with many valuable Porsche museums.
Anyway, various Porsche appears in the video. That is also one of the highlights.
Porsche who appear in Porsche CM
First of all, the 918 Spyder (Porsche 918 Spyder).
And of course, the leading role, Porsche Taycan.
Carrera GT (Porsche Carrera GT).
Furthermore, the Porsche 917K (Porsche 917K).
The estimated price is 15 million dollars (about 1.6 billion yen). It's amazing.
This car is made "just to run fast in the race".
Therefore, like this shooting, in a non-race driving, the distance and timing with other Porsche are estimated, and in a situation where people instruct "Go right! Go left!" It seems that it took a lot of skill to drive this Porsche that was born purely for racing (of course, a professional driver drives it in the shooting).
Porsche 917K has no reverse gear
Moreover, I didn't know that this 917K doesn't have a reverse gear (back).
That's right ~! !!
So, when I had to back the car with the set every time, I heard that I pushed it by hand like this.
Why is there no reverse?
Yes, that's because you don't have to back up in the race.
Hmmm sure. Only move forward in the race. No, how much Porsche was born just for racing ^ ^
Next, the other Porsche that appears in the video is the 1974 Porsche 911 RS. The estimated price is about 1.5 million dollars (about 160 million yen).
This is the car used for shooting. Cayenne. It's amazing that even with such a great shooting device, it won't turn over.
When I thought about it, when I followed the car for shooting and turned at a fairly high speed, the car body might have floated. I was doing a movement that seems to be ^ ^
From the perspective of an amateur, I think the drone will be a movie even if it starred. It looks so amazing that you might think that (laughs).
And this is the new Porsche 911 (992) that I thought, "Isn't it the Porsche 992 used in Bad Boys for Life?"
That's right, this time, in this making video, this 992 was said to be a "bad boy car"!
That's right ~. I thought so ^^
With a modified handbrake.
The bar ↓ at the yellow circle is the handbrake. It seems that this was fun again.
The 1960 Porsche Super Tractor, which appears on the way, looks like this.
It's too cute (laughs).
I think it was difficult to shoot, but I thought it would be fun if I was touring this place.
These 10 cars have never run together, so it seems that each Porsche had to think about what they could or couldn't do.
Certainly, it is not usually possible for a Porsche tractor and a Porsche 917K to run together (laughs).
The state when the first day is over and I go home. Cheers for good work….
Somehow really gorgeous.
It will be the second day of shooting.
The temperature on this day was 22F (about -5.5 ℃). It's getting colder ~.
It seems that there are about 80 shooting crew members on this day.
On the second day, there were 8 Porsche cars and 5 actors.
On this day, it seems that Taycan was caught at the end and it was a scene shooting of "Who will be the next villain?"
The third day was taken at the Porsche Museum.
On the shooting day, the entire museum will be closed so that you can shoot as you like, especially outside.
What is amazing is that the cars displayed in this Porsche Museum are not in the category of decorations and antiques that are only "exhibited", and both of them "can run properly". ..
Certainly that is amazing.
By the way, in this CM "HEIST", Porsche 992 GT3 is quietly making a cameo appearance, but there is no new shot in this making video.
As an aside, it seems that overseas media inquired Porsche "The blue Porsche reflected in that CM is the GT3 of 992, isn't it?", But the reply is "We are before the release. I will not mention the new model "It seems that it ended with ^ ^
Well, the making video continues.
The scene where Porsche and others go out of the Porsche Museum in the middle of the night was really taken after 2 o'clock in the middle of the night.
Exactly the time when Taycan is likely to be stolen ^ ^?
It seems that shooting was quite difficult because many Porsche drifted around the circle where the monument was located in front of the Porsche Museum, and the Cayenne for shooting had to enter there as well.
The temperature was low and the road surface was slippery, so it was quite dangerous.
The third day of shooting started at 5:30 in the morning, and it was a harsh thing that I was still running after 5 o'clock the next morning.
Shooting will start on the 4th day. On this day, shooting of actors in front of the green screen, etc.
Near 11 pm, here in Germany, I moved to Stuttgart's Palace Square and took a picture.
Originally it seems that you should not drive a car in this place, and moreover, you will drive a Porsche 917 etc. that you should not normally drive on public roads, so anyway, shooting with various permits.
Shooting on this day also takes until after 5 o'clock at dawn.
But it's not over yet, the 5th day of shooting.
Germany shot a car chase scene in Heidelberg.
Taken at 5 locations in a temperature of about 21F (about -6 ℃).
Even so, it's amazing. Even in the car chase scene, there are times when you don't actually car chase (shooting in the studio).
Next, Day6 is a shooting of a car chase scene in the city of Heppenheim, Germany.
This time around 110 staff members were involved in this commercial. Produced by the US and German teams.
At the very end, I was quite surprised that Porsche US was told that "Porsche, such a small company, will participate in the commercial of NFL Super Bowl".
Certainly, the only companies that run commercials in the NFL Super Bowl are large companies, but even so, Porsche called itself "Small company like Porsche". I was surprised.
To me, it's more like a Biiiiig Company than a Small (because Porsche occupies a significant part of my brain ^^)!
It was fun to see the making video of this Porsche CM ^ ^
