Attending "Soirée Blanche" at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo
I was a little busy over the summer and wasn't able to write about a lot of things, so this is a story from a while ago, but I'm a little late and want to share something about a certain day in the summer of 2025.
On this day, my husband drove me to the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.

One thing I did before going to the Grand Hyatt Tokyo was to whiten my nails.
ha ha ha

When I arrived at the hotel and went to the meeting lobby, everyone around the restaurant I was about to enter was wearing all white.
Yes, the reason I whitened my nails was because the keyword for this event was "white."

On this day, I was invited by some fellow Porsche ladies to attend the "Soirée Blanche" event held at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo.

Soirée Blanche is an all-white themed dinner party with free-flowing champagne.
That sounds cool, but it basically means all-you-can-drink (lol).
The champagne maker sponsor for the day was Perrier-Jouet, so it was an all-you-can-drink night!

On this day, there were only a few peopleLet's drink a lotSo, we had a gathering of four Porsche girls from the Kanto region.
Everyone was dressed in white and entered the venue, where they were greeted with a welcome drink of champagne.

We started with a welcome drink and some simple appetizers outside on the terrace, rather than indoors.
Looking around, everyone is white, white, white.
This is wonderful, but since I'm not used to it, at first I was fooled into thinking, "Oh, have I come to a meeting of some kind of shady religious group?" because everyone is so white.
It doesn't have to be completely white, but I got the impression that most people were completely white. Most were women, but there were a few men among them.
The male customers were wearing white T-shirts and white pants (or white shorts since it was hot) or white jackets, but among them was the black outfit worn by Nishikawa Takanori in the Hot Limit music video.
Some people came wearing what looked like a white version of that, and it was amazing how stylish they looked (?).

We also secured a seat on the outdoor terrace and started with a toast.
Well, it was still extremely hot in Tokyo, but it was great to be on the terrace that evening as it was comfortable and not drenched in sweat.

The meal starts with an appetizer.

You can pick it up as you like.

Champagne bottles were placed in plenty of ice water on each terrace table, ready to drink whenever you like.
What is this, it's awesome.

Actually, I don't like champagne (or sparkling wine) as much as regular still wine.Of course, I can drink it and it tastes good, but I can't drink as much as I can with wine.
If I drink too much, I start to feel sick halfway through.
So on this day, I participated in the event even though I told the Porsche girls, "I can't drink much, though."

After the appetizers on the terrace, everyone will move inside to their own seats.

Meals are served buffet style in this indoor area.
Some people even came dressed in pure white kimonos.

A pure white kimono is a ShiromukuWhite clothingI've only ever seen it like that, so it was a fresh experience.

Although it was a buffet, each person was given one plate of salad to start with.

The buffet menu included meat, steamed vegetables, and French fries.

The food was sufficient for the ladies who were mainly there to drink champagne like us, but for the men who were hungry and wanted to eat a hearty meal with their champagne, the number of dishes on the menu might be a little disappointing.

There was also dessert, but I barely remember eating it (laughs).

There was a DJ and live musicians playing inside the venue, so the music was really lively and exciting.

As the champagne continued to flow and people got into a good mood, many began dancing along to the live music.

This looks like a lot of fun too!

... but.
Actually, it's us.
In the end, we never sat at the tables provided inside the room, and we never got to enjoy the music.
This is the empty seat we didn't use:

why?
What's wrong with you not getting into the music?
...Hehehehe.
No, to be honest, we didn't have time to go inside, and the terrace seats we sat on first were so comfortable that none of the Porsche girls had any desire to go inside (lol).
After all, there's as much champagne as you want on the terrace, the breeze is pleasant at night, and we want to chat more, so it's best to have no music.

Everyone else had moved indoors, so the Porsche girls stayed on the terrace, drinking and chatting away (lol).
It's just too awesome. It's fun.

We were drinking champagne on the terrace and just about everyone was starting to think, "I guess it's okay to just pour my own drinks."

A senior female student at Porsche University, who is a champagne connoisseur, began to give instructions, saying, "Hey! This is how you pour champagne!" (laughs).

It was fun to also get a lesson on how to pour champagne, with the staff saying "Is this right?"
I guess everyone was probably already drunk by this point (lol).

Before we knew it, everyone was drinking and drinking, and there were three empty champagne bottles under the Porsche women's table.
Furthermore, at this time, there was a completely empty bottle on the table...

Also, at first, the waiter would pour us champagne like this, so I was like, "Huh?"
There were only four Porsche girls there, but they managed to finish more than four bottles???

Anyway, it was a really, really fun meeting.
So what kind of conversation did we have?
...If I remember it, I'll write it down!
It was fun, but I don't remember much of it at the end (lol). I said I don't like champagne, but I was having so much fun that I probably finished a whole bottle by myself and was completely exhausted.

Thankfully, my husband came to pick me up on the way back, so I was able to give two other people who were heading in the same direction as me a ride home. However, when I woke up after getting in the car, the second person was already getting out.
When the first person got off, I was fast asleep and had no recollection of it. Sorry about that (lol).

It's hard to say what this blog is about, but what I wanted to write is that it's great to be able to spend such a fun time drinking with the women I met through Porsche.
It was really fun. Thank you for inviting me.
Also, thanks to my husband for driving his drunk, bad wife to and from school!
