An event sponsored by Porsche Japan called "Porsche Garage" that suddenly started in 2022.

This Porsche Garage will be held three times in 2022, and the event history so far, including this third time, is as follows:

◆ 1st: May 28, 2022 (Saturday) At Tokyo Prince The theme is "Kuurei (air-cooled)" with more than 180 units

◆ 2nd time: October 2, 2022 (Sunday) At Ninnaji Temple (Kyoto), the main temple of the Omuro school of Shingon Buddhism, the theme is "Colorful & Unique" 100 units

◆ 3rd time: November 5, 2022 (Saturday) at Fuji Speedway Theme is "Heritage & Performance" 300 units

Participate in the Porsche 964 Cup (riding together)

Since the theme of this time, which is the third time, was "Heritage & Performance", as I own only the veil model Carrera, I can not enter either the heritage frame or the performance frame in Porsche ... It was, but God was still there.

I couldn't participate in my own car this time, but I was able to ride in the Porsche 964 Cup and participate in the Porsche Garage!

This is an even more valuable experience for me than participating in my own car. I've lost it ^ ^

Since the 964 Cup was grouped as Group B among the participating vehicles, it was relatively early to enter FSW.

It was good that I was able to arrive at FSW early on that day, as the traffic on the Tomei Expressway started quite early in the morning.

Since most of Groups A and B were air-cooled Porsches, there were more and more air-cooled Porsches in FSW early in the morning.

Many acquaintances were supposed to participate in this event. There was a person who said that it was a seat participation.

I would like to meet that person at the site, so I told him in advance, "(Please tell me the car of your friend who will be riding with you."

In fact, I was able to spot and meet him immediately before entering FSW. This car is so amazing in various ways, and the stories I heard from the owner were very interesting and fun ^ ^

By accepting the reception, I was able to receive exchange tickets for Baumkuchen and coffee, magazines, water, and wristbands for watching the fireworks display in the evening from the stands.

In addition to the participating vehicles, there were also several vehicles on display near the tent.

Among them, I think that this Porsche 959 was the one that most people were looking at "Oh!".

Since I have very little knowledge about Porsche around here, I was able to enjoy the luxurious view saying "Haha~" while learning various things.

This time, to the person who was the first to invite me to this event, "Why don't you try applying?" I was saying

The result was a failure after all, but according to Porsche's announcement on this day, the total number of applicants was 1,500.

Well, if you think about it, I was convinced that there was no way to qualify with my 911 car, which is a base model (and the age is not a heritage at all, 991.2 and 992) ^ ^

Among them, there was a standard model (compared to the other participating cars) that made me wonder, "Why did this car win?" It seems that you were appealing your own car and yourself perfectly in the comment section (where you appeal your car), which is too good! I was impressed.

Time passed quickly when I entered FSW in the morning, saw various wonderful Porsches, and greeted people who were able to meet for the first time in a long time.

An event that spreads the Porsche community that connects many Porsche lovers

Before you know it, it's time for the meeting.

When we gathered around the stage that had been set up, there was a greeting from Mr. Philip (Mr. Philip von Witzendorf), CEO of Porsche Japan.

Personally, I was happy to meet Philip again for the first time in a long time since I met him at the Porsche rally ^ ^

Last time I was drunk and said, "Give me a production quota!", This time, I said, "I don't care about the production quota anymore, so I'm looking forward to working with you in the future." After all, he looks like he's drunk (laughs).

In addition, I was very happy to meet Mr. Maeda, the executive officer of the marketing & CRM department after a long absence ^^!

This time, I was able to thank Porsche Japan for preparing a place where these "people who like Porsche" can meet and talk as a manufacturer event.

In this kind of place, we can only meet once in a while, and even if we have the opportunity to meet, we will jump over the situation where people who can gather at that time will be scattered, and many people who love Porsche will gather together to meet everyone at once. It was a lot of fun to meet so many acquaintances on this day, and to meet people who I had only met through SNS until now.

Since it was an event sponsored by Porsche, many people came to FSW from various regions, and I was able to meet people who I could not normally meet casually.

While living in Tokyo, I realized again that I was acquainted with people who are full of Porsche love in various prefectures in Japan, and I thought that it was a really good relationship ^ ^

Due to the spread of the corona virus in the last few years, it is unavoidable that such a large-scale event could not be held.

However, I can't help but feel happy that the event is gradually returning again, and of course, although it is a major premise to take measures to prevent corona infection, it is too happy that many Porsche fans have gathered in this way. That was it.
