PEC Tokyo 38th Morning Mission: Female Owner

Posted: Posted:

The 38th theme is Female Owner

The 38th Porsche Moming Mission was held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, and its theme was "Female Owner".

Yes, that means she's a "Porsche girl" ^^!

I also participated in the event that day, after getting together with other female Porsche enthusiasts.

However, since another Porsche event was being held in Yokohama that day, many of the female Porsche enthusiasts I usually know were participating in that event from the morning, so unfortunately, they were spread out.

Therefore, I thought it might be a smaller gathering than usual for the Porsche Girls members, but when I actually went to PEC Tokyo, there were many Porsche Girls I was meeting for the first time, and in the end, it turned out to be a gathering of many Porsche Girls ^^

I participated that day in my Carrera T (992.1). The Carrera T is really fun.

Now, since the theme for the day was Female Owner, the guests included not only motor journalist Yuuki Imai, but also none other than the Vice President of Region Overseas and Emerging Markets from Porsche AG.Christiane ZornThey came to Japan to participate.

Of course, Mr. Imoh, CEO of Porsche Japan, also participated. Last nightLuft TokyoApparently, after that, they had teppanyaki with Christiane and the others (what kind of information is that? lol).

Christiane's position, translated into Japanese, would be something like Vice President in charge of overseas and emerging markets. She is responsible for about 60 markets, which is equivalent to 20% of Porsche's total sales.

Furthermore, she has apparently worked in product development, which is unusual for a woman, throughout her career.

Christiane not only has an amazing career, but she's also incredibly beautiful and very charming—simply wonderful!

Incidentally, Christiane's own car is a manual 997.1 Porsche, and when asked "What is your dream Porsche?", she answered "A 993 Turbo."

After the interview, there were interviews with several female Porsche enthusiasts who were among the attendees at the venue.

Everyone shared their stories about their first encounter with a Porsche, and how their lives have changed (for the better, of course!) as a result of that encounter.

It was fun listening to everyone's stories, as some of your cars had beautiful PTS colors, while others had unique preferences like "I've always kept mine yellow."

However, the enjoyable conversation went on for quite a long time (the talk show lasted almost an hour in total), so unfortunately I didn't have time to leisurely look at the Porsches that were there that day (lol). I was only able to take a quick look at them.

Next time, I'd like to interact with more people and look at various cars before the talk show starts.

On the day of this morning mission, the day before wasLUFT TOKYOIt was an extremely busy weekend, with events like that taking place, and on top of that, the Type7 Magarigawa event being held on the same day.

Since the starting point for the Magarigawa event (Boso Rally/Rally to the Magarigawa) was here at PEC Tokyo, cool Porsches participating in that Type 7 event also started gathering one after another from the end of the morning mission.

As I was leaving, I passed by so many absolutely stunning Porsches. What a Porsche-filled weekend!

After this, I went to Yokohama to see the exciting Porsche. More on that later.

Finally, here's an update on the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms, which we always check at PEC Tokyo. They've grown so big already!

They weren't in bloom at this time, but I wonder if they're blooming now? I've never seen them in full bloom, so I'd really like to see them.

Summary of the 39th Morning Mission

The next event, the 39th in the series, will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, with the theme "GT Models".

This looks like it's going to be another great episode with lots of GT cars!

Furthermore, perhaps because the theme for the day was GT cars, the guests included racing drivers Masami Kageyama and Yuya Sakamoto.

I also really like both of them. Kageyama-sanMasami MeetingI participated in a driving lesson hosted by Mr. Kageyama, and Mr. Sakamoto taught meThank you for letting me test drive the Huracán EVO.That's how it all led to our family buying a Huracán EVO ^^

It would be a rare and interesting opportunity to hear from a professional who actually drives a Porsche GT car with such skill, so if you're interested, why not apply?
