Drag race portion of the footage shown at the 992.2 world premiere
The Porsche 911 992.2 model was announced on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:00 pm Japan time.However, this time the announcement was made via live streaming.
On that night, I imagine there were many people who were excitedly waiting for 10pm to hit in front of their computers, tablets, or smartphones. I was one of them.
As those who watched the world premiere that day know, a certain video was shown in the middle of the announcement.
This is a 1/4 mile drag race between the new hybrid GTS and the previous GTS, featuring Mat Matson of Carwow, who is famous for drag racing a variety of cars, and Porsche brand ambassador Mark Webber.
