Porsche 718 Boxster GTS just delivered in late 2022I said goodbye.

At that time, I wasn't looking for a Boxster, and I didn't even want to buy a Porsche.
At that time, this Boxster that suddenly appeared in front of me was a left-hand drive manual transmission car that I had always admired.
At the time of this encounter, the Porsche sales situation in the world was like "I can't buy the Porsche I want even if I want it anymore" (a situation where even a mass-produced model does not come at all), in my mind "From now on , Maybe I won't be able to meet a Porsche that I want to drive on the left MT anymore."
At that time, this Guards Red 718 Boxster GTS suddenly appeared.
The moment I sat in the driver's seat of this car, I fell in love at first sight because the interior was similar to my 991.2 Carrera. It was a prompt decision.
It's a really beautiful car, and every time I see it, it's a car that I admired as "cool", and when I got on and drove it, it was already a longed-for left MT Porsche, my first midship open car Boxster, everything It was a Porsche that was fresh and very happy to drive.

I haven't been able to write much about my memories with the 718 Boxster GTS so far, so let me look back at the end.
I also gave this Boxster a desired number, so when that number was won, I went to the Land Transport Bureau with the sales person as usual.

718 Days I ran with Boxster

Go out with two Crayon 992 cabriolet.
I also ran with the Huracán EVO.
Put two of them side by side, one in red and the other in dark gray.
It's something to say after saying goodbye, but it was really cool (sorry for saying it myself).
This Boxster was a certified used car, so I didn't originally order it.
But this Boxster made by the previous owner has a crayon / black leather interior with seat ventilation, so it's not only nice but also comfortable.
The steering wheel is also a warming type, so it is possible to warm the steering wheel even in winter. ... but I didn't use the steering heater because I'm not good at it ^ ^
goodbye reason
Well, why did I say goodbye to Boxster, which was so much fun so quickly, but there is only one reason.
Because the Carrera T came.
When I purchased the 718 Boxster GTS, the Carrera T had not yet been announced, and the 992.1 Carrera T did not officially exist in the world yet.
When the Carrera T was suddenly announced after purchasing the 718, I learned that the Carrera T was my favorite base model Carrera and had a left MT setting ... From there, as you all know, we welcomed the Carrera T. I was allowed to do it.
Exactly the Porsche 911 base model left MT is the model I wanted the most. This is the model I wanted the most. A dream model that I never thought would come out.
Still, even after it was decided that Carrera T would come, I had no intention of letting go of the 718 Boxster GTS. That's why I didn't even think about replacing the Carrera T when it was delivered.

When the Carrera T is delivered and I run the same left MT Porsche ... After all, I am used to Carrera because the original Porsche started with a black Carrera, so the 911 is just right It's coming.

Even now, in a corner of my heart, I sometimes think, "I wish I had Boxster after all."

Furthermore, when I finally decided to return the 718 to the Porsche Center, there was a person who consulted me about selling the 718 this time, but while we were talking, he bought it. That's what I'm talking about.
