Collection of Australia's most influential Porsche insider to be auctioned
The private collection of the late Alan Hamilton, who was said to be a central figure in Australian motorsport and the local automotive industry,Donington AuctionIt will be put up for auction in a large-scale online auction by

Hamilton passed away in March 2025, but he is said to have built Porsche's presence in Australia for over 30 years, and worked as an official Porsche importer together with his father, Norman.
Hamilton himself has also had a brilliant racing career, with many impressive achievements, including winning the Australian Sportscar Championship in 1977 and multiple hill climb titles.
The auction is titled "Mr. Porsche Australia - Featuring the Garage & Collection of the Late Alan Hamilton" and will feature an astonishing 500+ lots.
Honestly, just looking at the items on display is enough to make you think, "Wow, there are still more?", as there are so many that you'll lose your concentration if you try to look at them all carefully one by one.

The bidding process will begin online on February 2, 2026, and will take place over two days, February 14 and 15.
Cars other than Porsche are also on display, but there are also a huge number of Porsche-related goods on offer.
There are a variety of Porsche-related goods on display, from factory blueprints for race cars such as the 917 and 908 to signs, models, trophies, art, and original goods from Porsche dealerships.
I'm curious about where I'd use this if I won the bid, but I'm also curious about the Porsche crest door handle, which I kind of want (lol)

Online bidding is possible, so if you're interested, please check it out!
