I participated in the "McLaren Tokyo Premium Test Drive" held at Fuji Speedway P15 sponsored by McLaren Tokyo.

Basically, my husband will test drive the McLaren this time, but I enjoyed the round trip between going to Fuji Speedway and the way back to Tokyo with Porsche GT3 ^ ^

For this day's event, I first ran the relatively simple Gymkhana course installed on P15 of Fuji Speedway with my own car, then changed to a McLaren test drive and ran in my own car. This is an event to let you feel the difference between running and running at McLaren on the spot.

On this day, there were a total of four McLarens prepared as test rides, three from the sports series and one from the super series.

 

Sports Series: McLaren 540C

A 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine boasting a maximum output of 540PS, which runs 0-200km in 10.5 seconds.

Sports Series: McLaren 570S Coupe

0-100km is 3.2 seconds, 0-200km is 9.5 seconds. A 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine boasting a maximum output of 570PS.

Sports Series: McLaren 570S Spider

0-100km is 3.2 seconds, 0-200km is 9.6 seconds. A 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine convertible boasting a maximum output of 570PS. The retractable hardtop opens and closes for 15 seconds. In addition, it can be opened and closed even while driving up to 40 km / h.

Super Series: McLaren 720S

It takes 2.9 seconds for 0-100km and 7.8 seconds for 0-200km. Maximum output 720PS, 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo engine.

Ferrari 488 Pista also

This time, I also saw the cars of other participants, but I was surprised that there was a Ferrari 488-like car, so I thought "Is that 488?" And approached it ... The 488 was 488, but it was 488 Pista!

I talked a little with the owner, but I never thought that I could meet 488 Pista and see Pista running here, so it was quite moving ^ ^

Mr. Pista who stopped at Cornes was also cool, but after all the appearance of running is cooler!

Besides, while Porsche and Mercedes were there, Lamborghini had Mr. Gallardo.

While talking about "Oh, there's Gallardo," I headed for the McLaren tent that was set up, but when I was asked "Hello," I also said "Hello." "^^", when I casually raise my face to say hello. There is a familiar face there!

It was a terrible coincidence that an acquaintance was also participating in this event. See you in a place like this! What's more, the Gallardo I saw earlier was a new car that had just been added. I was surprised at the double.

I was able to meet people I knew and play with them, so the event on this day was a lot of fun ^^

Riding in Gymkhana by a professional driver

On this day, in addition to running McLaren by myself, I was also able to "ride in the passenger seat" of McLaren where the Yamano brothers are running.

On this day, Mr. Naoya first took a ride with the 570S coupe.

When I was riding in Karuizawa's Gymkhana, I was riding in the back seat of Porsche 911, so it was quite narrow (laugh), but this time I got on in the passenger seat of McLaren while enjoying the front view. It's a luxury to let me.

No, it's very fast and bends while driving, so the expression "relaxing" is just the size of the seat, not "elegance" ^^ But such intense driving is too fun!

And really, what is luxurious, and as a matter of course, you can ride in Gymkhana next to Mr. Yamano's driving. I'm too impressed. thank you very much.

When I get in the passenger seat of a professional driver running in Gymkhana, I can only say that it is "awesome".

Since the place where I am driving is a parking lot space, even though it is the first straight that is not so far away, I suddenly take it to about 130 km with full acceleration, then suddenly fully brake and decelerate, then turn.

Mr. Yamano was driving while laughing at me who was riding while making a lot of noise, such as "Wow !!", and I recorded the state of such riding together in the video, so my husband later recorded that situation. When I showed it to him, he said, "Somehow, it looks really fun!" (Laughs).

In addition, I had an even more impossible luxury on this day. Yes, that is. Following Naoya-san, this time I was able to ride the McLaren 720S on my brother Tetsuya-san's Gymkhana run.

However, when I was in the passenger seat, I felt that I could feel the difference, and the two of us really felt different.

Of course, the difference between the cars being the 570S and the 720S may be big.

When I managed to express my feelings, both of them were very gentle and kind, but when it came time to drive a car, Naoya felt that he was driving more gentle and gentle.

I'll write it so that it's not misunderstood, but it's just an impression when I dare to compare it with Tetsuya-san in a fast and sharp run. Is it kinder than Tetsuya-san?

And Tetsuya seems to be more aggressive, or when the car moves near the cone that is already installed, the cone "disappears from sight and disappears" from me, "This is me You must have already skipped all the corn, right? ”I felt as if the corn really disappeared.

It's amazing when I'm with Tetsuya! I enjoyed it while being impressed, and the time I was allowed to ride together these two times this time was so quick in terms of the actual driving time, but in that short time, I was so excited and entertained, and there was excitement that I couldn't experience in my daily life, and I feel that I was able to rejuvenate considerably just from this day's experience (laughs).
