Linden Green Porsche 911 Dakar

The other day I had the opportunity to ride alongside the GT Silver Dakar.Also, speaking of Dakar,Dakar in Rothmans Roughroads liveryWe often see this in the media, but recently I came across a Dakar being auctioned overseas so I went to take a look.

The color of this Dakar is PTS's "Linden Green," which is a lime green color.

This was the first time I'd seen a Dakar in this color, so I thought it was quite striking, and I also thought the Dakar looked cool even in such a flashy color.

The other day's purple Dakar(Viola Purple Metallic) was also cool ^^

The Linden Green Dakar being auctioned this time is also equipped with a roof rack, and even comes with a Porsche folding shovel! (What?)

But before that, what is this white Ohmu-like thing?

After doing some research, I found out that this is a "recovery board," a board used to help a car escape if it gets stuck on soft ground (sand, perhaps?).

Wow.

It's true that Porsche will be driving through desert-like areas during the Dakar Rally, so boards and shovels like these are necessary.

By the way, this folding shovel is so cute.

I have almost no use for it in my daily life, but I somehow still want it.

By the way, this shovel costs about 30,000 yen, but in order to attach it to a roof rack, you will need to purchase a special holder for about 16,000 yen separately.

The price is not cute

The car being auctioned this time seems to come with other kit such as this shovel, two fuel containers, a duffel bag, and two sets of gloves.

This 2024 Dakar model has the serial number "368th" out of a limited production run of 2,500 units.

The total price of the original new car was $243,460, which is about 38 million yen at the current exchange rate.

As of now, two days before the auction ends, the bid is at $290,000 (approximately 45 million yen).

There may still be a lot of bids at the very end, so we're looking forward to seeing the final result.

The total distance traveled was 43 miles (69 km).

They have also quietly changed the fuel cap to a cool one (I'm jealous).
