Land Cruiser "250": Exhibition in Akihabara
Yesterday, while I was strolling around Akihabara, I happened to find out that a Land Cruiser 250 vehicle exhibition was being held at Bellesalle Akihabara.
Bellesalle Akihabara is a place where various events are always held,Audi's e-tron unveiledThis is Bellesalle Akihabara.
It would be understandable if it was an invitation-only (lottery-based) event like the e-tron exhibition, but this Land Cruiser 250 exhibition was not invitation-only and anyone could enter and exit freely. Despite this, all of the glass from the outside was closed and black curtains were drawn, making it impossible to see inside at all.
There was a black wall surrounding the entrance, so you couldn't see inside unless you went around it.
There is no wording on the outside that indicates it is a "Land Cruiser."
Given this situation, it became clear that although this vehicle exhibition was an event that anyone could enter, they only wanted those who had found out that "the Land Cruiser 250 was on display here" to see it.
If I hadn't known that it was being done here, I probably would have just walked right past it without even noticing.
So, it was clear that the customers looking around inside were all very interested in the Land Cruiser 250.

Let's start with this exhibit.
All the exhibited cars are prototypes, so the specifications are different from the actual cars for sale.
A 7-seater would be nice.
I've always wanted a seven-seater car and had been looking at the BMW X7...but when you see it in person, it's just too big (obviously).
It seems like I won't be able to buy it in the first place and I won't be able to get into the parking lot!
Next up is the Modellista specs:
Mr. Marume.
There are three vehicles on display, the last one is the JAOS & Toy Factory spec↓
When I looked behind me I thought "Huh?"
This was a Land Cruiser 250 that came with a special bed kit.
This bed kit was developed exclusively for the Land Cruiser "250" by Toy Factory, the No. 1 manufacturer of Hiace-based campervans.
There is also luggage space under the bed mat.
It would be nice to sleep in this car and go around the country doing stamp rallies. The stamp rally that my family participated in was BMWmosquito.
By the way, this bed kit costs 305,800 yen.
I wanted a catalogue, so I asked if I could have one, and I was told I had to fill out a simple questionnaire on my smartphone.
I answered right away and showed the final screen on my smartphone to the staff member who asked, "Thank you! Would you like a catalogue or some sweets?" To my surprise, there was also a choice of Land Cruiser novelty sweets in addition to the catalogue.
For a moment I was tempted by the sweets (lol), but in the end I wanted the catalogue, so I got one ^^
I was very happy to come across the Land Cruiser 250 by chance.
Finally, one trivial thing related to Akihabara.
I had seen the Kourakuen store near Yodobashi Akiba before, when it had been renovated and refurbished, but when I went back there again for the first time in a while, I saw that it had a digital sign and the prices displayed looked just like today's exchange rate.
I wondered if the price really changes depending on the daily exchange rate.
I'm sorry for saying something so unimportant at the very end!
