GIRO Japan 2025 Day 2 begins

The next morning, after a lot of drinking, the second day of GIRO Japan 2025 Hokkaido began.

The breakfast venue is buffet style.

There was a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes on offer, but since we were in Hokkaido, I couldn't help but choose the seafood.

This morning, they also had unlimited salmon roe, so I had a hearty salmon roe bowl for breakfast. I was so happy.

And as usual, I was already full from the morning. The second day of my fat-loss efforts has begun.

After the meal, the drivers' meeting for the second day began.

We started off after confirming the route for the day and listening to some precautions.

When we went outside, we saw the Lamborghinis lined up neatly again.

Seeing all those incredibly cool Lamborghinis lined up in perfect weather got me excited all over again that morning.

This gradation revuelto is just so cool!

After taking group photos, everyone gets in their cars and waits for the start.

That's right, the day before my husband and I had been talking about how "the windows are dirty, so we need to wipe them," and when we got into the car on the morning of the second day, the windows that had been dirty the day before had been wiped clean.

I am truly grateful for the wonderful support from the staff behind the scenes.

The second day of GIRO Japan 2025 began with a shout of the starting gun.

As we departed from the hotel, the Japanese drummers once again performed a wonderful performance to send GIRO Japan off on the second day of their tour.

Mount Yotei was beautiful again today.

This will be a convoy tour with the same group as on the first day.

Roadside Station Boyo-Nakayama

The first stop on the second day of GIRO is the roadside station, Boyo Nakayama.

At the roadside station at the top of Nakayama Pass, ice cream was being given away.

I've been eating a lot of things since morning, including salmon roe rice bowls, so even though I'm full, I still find myself eating again.

Apparently this roadside station in Boyo-Nakayama is famous for its deep-fried sweet potatoes, and they even sell deep-fried sweet potato character goods.

The character was really unique and cute. I should have bought it after all.

Nouvelle Pool Okurayama/Sapporo Olympic Museum

Next we drove and arrived at Nouvelle Pouce Okurayama.

This place is known for being the location of the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, and was the lunch venue for the second day.

When you park your car and go inside, you'll see Olympic colors everywhere.

Day 2 Lunch

We had lunch at Nouvelle Pouce Okurayama, located inside the Sapporo Olympic Museum, and when we arrived at the venue, the setting was so beautiful that it made us think, "Is this a Lamborghini Giro facility?"

When you enter the restaurant, the Lamborghini cow is there, and it makes you think that it is a Lambo restaurant.

From the window we could see the impressive ski jump.

Lunch on this day was free seating.

We enjoyed the stylish dishes that were served one after another, and the drinks included non-alcoholic sparkling wine.

Both were delicious.

When it was time to depart after lunch, the first group to depart had an unexpected incident where they said, "We haven't had dessert yet!", so it was unfortunate for those who didn't get to have dessert because it wasn't served in time... (tears, tears).

We definitely received it...

After eating, we went outside to take another look at the jump platform, and it was so impressive that I couldn't believe people could jump from such a platform.

By the way, when it's not being used as a jump platform in the winter, this jump platform also hosts competitions where people run up from the bottom, which is also amazing in itself (laughs).

The start after lunch varied depending on the group, but our group was taken to the parking lot where we had parked earlier by the lead Audis and then started again.

Nostalgic Shiroi Koibito Park

Next we head to the Otaru Canal.

Before heading to the Otaru Canal, I happened to pass by Shiroi Koibito Park. This is a place that holds bitter memories for me.

Because a few years agoTo get a stamp for the BMW stamp rallyI had the experience of visiting here alone.

At the time, the Shiroi Koibito Park was filled with not only couples, but also friends who were not couples and were all having fun, and while I was watching all those happy people, I was eating a cream puff by myself in the facility, which was a very sad, lonely and solitary experience (lol).

Since the purpose was to do the stamp rally, it couldn't be helped, but on that day I passed by Shiroi Koibito Park, which reminded me of that sad experience.

This time, even at Shiroi Koibito Park I was able to drive off with many Lamborghinis, and I felt like my lonely experience at this place had been transformed into a fun one.

Seriously, I would recommend you to go to Shiroi Koibito Park by yourself. You will feel so lonely it's almost sad (lol).

Otaru Canal Cruise

With that bitter experience of Shiroi Koibito Park in mind, which felt like a grudge (?), I arrived at the parking lot near the Otaru Canal Cruise.

The Huracan EVO looks cool with the ocean in the background.

... I was bursting with self-satisfaction. This Lamborghini is something we can't let go of.

The many Lamborghinis parked on the beach were so picturesque and beautiful.

We parked our car here and enjoyed a cruise on the Otaru Canal.

A GIRO Japan charter boat will take you on a 40-minute tour of Otaru city's historic canals.

The canal cruise took place in very hot conditions with direct sunlight pouring down on us, but we were able to enjoy ourselves by blocking out the sun with the fans that were lent to us.

Although it was hot, we saw some drivers who were tired from driving suddenly take a nap during this cruise.

I also fell asleep for a bit.

It was great for sightseeing and also a nice little break.

Take a leisurely canal cruise while watching the seagulls and jellyfish.

After the canal cruise, you can buy souvenirs in Otaru before setting off again.

As I was driving to my next destination, I saw the scenery and thought to myself that further ahead, beyond the yellow arrow, was Cape Kamui.

Cape Kamui was a humiliating spot because during the BMW stamp rally mentioned above, it was closed in the winter and it was impossible to reach, so we lost out on the stamp points and ended up second in the country (and not first).

But right now I feel very calm and the drive is so elegant, I can see Cape Kamui up there in the distance.

Somehow, this trip is rewriting the bitter memories of the BMW Stamp Rally (lol).

Mushroom Kingdom

Our next destination is Kinoko Kingdom Niki Branch.

The facility has several stores in Hokkaido, and sells fresh vegetables and mushrooms at its direct sales store, as well as its own brand of products.

Lamborghinis gather in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Here, even though we were still full just after lunch, we were served mushroom soup.

Of course, even when I'm full I still eat it, but this mushroom soup had more mushrooms than I expected and was very satisfying. It was comfortingly delicious.

While sipping mushroom soup at Mushroom Kingdom, I gazed out at the parking lot, which was obviously a strange sight - it was full of Lamborghini.

Well, after enjoying the various touring and touring spots that we had enjoyed that day, each group refueled and the tour came to an end.

After refueling, we returned to Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono.

Even the entrance is a special GIRO Japan design.

The Lamborghini cars parked in front of the entrance are also really cool.

At this time, sales staff and other staff had moved the Lamborghini that was parked there and prepared it for departure the next day.

This will be continued in part 2 of the second day of GIRO Japan 2025. Sorry it's too long ^^
