From Kouri Bridge to Kouri Island

After enjoying a hearty and delicious lunch at the Hilton Sesoko Resort Sisk Grill, we set off for our next destination.

Two Countachs also participated in this year's GIRO Japan Okinawa.

Countach in Okinawa. Amazing.

Our next destination was more island hopping.

Let's go.

The second part of our island hopping tour involves crossing the Kouri Bridge.

Lamborghini and "Let's Drive Slowly in Okinawa". It's so cool!

Cross this Kouri Bridge to reach Kouri Island.

Here too, the sea color is known as "Kouri blue."

Of all the seas I saw this time, I thought the Kouri Blue was the most beautiful. Of course, the weather may have had something to do with it.

Our next destination is Kouri Ocean Tower.

Due to the crowded situation, we went a little further ahead and made a U-turn to avoid getting in the way, then headed to the parking lot.

We parked one after another in the parking lot, surrounded by trees that exude a truly tropical feel, and with the Okinawan ocean stretching out behind them.

Kouri Ocean Tower

After parking the car, we headed to Kouri Ocean Tower.

Here you can ride a self-driving golf cart up to the top of the tower.

It's amazing to climb up the mountain in an autonomous vehicle with audio guidance.

From the cart, we could see the beautiful Kouri Bridge that we just crossed. There were also drones.

There were also Lamborghinis parked in front of it. Again, many people who happened to be there came to see the Lamborghini cars.

Once we reached the top in the cart, there was another Lamborghini flag and a spot where we could relax and take a break.

At first glance, it's so GIRO-style that you'd think, "Is this a cafe called GIRO JAPAN?"

Inside, there was a pineapple-based dessert, as well as tropical herbal tea served in a pineapple for each person.

No, I'm already full.

We came down from the Ocean Tower and headed back to the parking lot.

It was really nice to see Lambo and the others in a tropical atmosphere with the sea in front of them.

I felt so grateful that my Huracan EVO came all the way to Okinawa Prefecture.

It was thanks to Lamborghini Japan, and for my family, to Cornes Shiba and their sales representative that we were able to have such an amazing experience. Thank you.

Island hopping between Sesoko Island, Yagaji Island, and Kouri Island

Now we are leaving Kouri Island for our next destination, but if you think about it, just before arriving at Kouri Island we pass through another island called Yagaji Island, so we will return to the main island via Yagaji Island again.

In other words, Kouri Island was the third island we visited today (after Sesoko Island, Yagaji Island, and Kouri Island).

It suddenly started raining as I was returning over the Kouri Ohashi Bridge that I had just crossed.

Aventador Roadster SVJ 63 roof opening and closing

It started to rain quite a bit for a while, and in my rearview mirror I saw the car behind me with its roof open, so I wondered, "Is it okay not to close the roof?"...at that moment.

When the car stopped at a traffic light, he got out of the car and quickly put the roof on (lol)!!

No, it was no laughing matter, sorry. But it did make me grin (laughs).

I had assumed that the roof of the Aventador Roadster SVJ could be opened and closed automatically, so I was surprised to find out that it was actually manual.

I was glad that I managed to close the roof while waiting at the traffic light.

The Aventador's roof can be opened and closed manually, and when removed it can be split into two parts and securely stored in a designated location in the front trunk.

Looks like a Porsche Carrera GT..

The sudden rain soon stopped, and the second day of the GIRO Japan race was almost over. The next destination was the hotel where we would be staying on the second day.

Finally, all the cars were refueled with gas.

Anticipating that it would be crowded, each of the two groups decided to refuel at two nearby gas stations.

What made me think this was a Lamborghini event was that even at the self-service gas station, the participants never had to get out of their cars, and the instructors and other staff did all the refueling for them.

I usually pump gas myself, so I feel a bit bad about it. Thank you.

Second night at The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa...exclusive

After completing the second day of GIRO Japan, we finally arrived at The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa, where we would be staying for the second day.

Lamborghinis march confidently into the facility, not minding that the hotel roads are filled with Lambos.

That's because, well.

Yes, this time the Ritz-Carlton Okinawa was exclusively booked for GIRO Japan. There were no other guests.

The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa apparently has a total of 97 guest rooms, but this time it was rented out exclusively for GIRO Japan, with only about 25 groups participating.

However, thanks to this, even if Lamborghini cars keep coming in through the driveway, they don't cause any trouble to other people.

The welcome drink at the hotel entrance is sanpin tea. The sanpin tea at the Ritz is a little strong.

After giving your name in the lobby and receiving your room key, you can spend the time as you like until dinner.

Anyway, I spent the time until dinner relaxing.

Actually, there was an aperitivo table prepared for us to have a few drinks before dinner, but we were so relaxed in our room that before we knew it, it was already dinner time.

GIRO Japan Day 2 Dinner Party

So, we skipped the aperitivo and headed straight to dinner.

The location is a restaurant called "Churanuuji" inside the hotel. It is located just across the water.

Dinner on this day was also a sit-down course meal, and the style was such that the people dining with me didn't know who was coming until we got there.

This time, I had the opportunity to sit down with someone I was speaking to for the first time, and we had a wonderful time together listening to stories on a grand scale.

Everyone I met at GIRO was so wonderful in so many ways, and their stories, experiences, and tales were so moving that I was at a loss for words. I was inspired by so many wonderful people over the three days.

These are very happy stimuli.

Live jazz music during your meal

Although the food here is Italian, it also makes generous use of Okinawan ingredients.

Since we are in Okinawa, we are very happy to see that so many Okinawan ingredients are used.

Sea grapes, Agu pork (written in hiragana ^^), red kernel meebai, Okinawan delicacy tofu, local black wagyu beef, shekwasha (sauce), and more.

While we were enjoying our delicious meals, it quickly became dark outside.

Afterparty

After dinner, we'll move to another location for the after-party.

Even though we already get to drink a lot during meals every night, the fact that there's an after-party every night is just amazing (for drinkers?).

On this occasion, we were joined by different members than those at dinner.

By providing this opportunity, we were able to interact with many different people in the short time of just two nights and three days, and we had a great time that went beyond just driving a Lamborghini.

Even so, the food served throughout the day was so lavish and plentiful that it would be impossible to eat everything served at these after-parties!

It was a happy problem ^^

Now here comes the highlight of the second day of GIRO Japan.

There was a large open door connecting the inside and outside of the bar so that people could see outside, and beyond that was a handrail.

That area was dark, so it looked like there was a balcony-like space from the inside of the room to the handrail, but someone told me, "There's water just before that point that leads outside! Be careful."

But a few seconds later.

This is the scene. There was a splash at the boundary between the room and the water! Oh, someone fell in? ↓

No, it's just impossible.

Immediately after being warned that it was water, my husband walked towards the water and fell in (lol). What a perfect reaction to a perfect introduction.

Well, when I say it fell, I mean the water was just enough to get my feet wet, but it's not something you normally fall into, is it? (laughs). Anyway, I guess it's okay since everyone was happy(?). Hahaha.

My husband left for a while to get changed.

And afterwards, from this area which was intentionally left open so that we could see the beautiful outside, we could see beautiful fireworks going off.

Of course, these fireworks are just for GIRO Japan. Exclusive.

Afterwards we all drank, talked, and enjoyed the live music, and had a really good time.

Everyone was truly wonderful, and not only were they wonderful, but there was so much to admire about each of you, and it was a real honor for my wife and I to have been able to spend time together with you all at GIRO Japan.

When you're having fun, time flies.

Tomorrow is the last day. To be continued (next will be the last one ^^).
