The story is based on a true story and will be released in Japan in September 2023.
Recently, the movie of Super Mario Bros. has been a big hit, but a trailer of a movie based on the same game has been released.
That's Gran Turismo. This is a live action version unlike Mario ^ ^
When I hear about Gran Turismo movies, I wonder if the story will unfold between the people who play Gran Turismo, or if it will be a race anyway, "What kind of story?" The movie is said to be a story based on the real experience (true story) of Mr. Jann Mardenborough who actually exists.
He graduated from "GT Academy" and was originally a tournament winner in the game Gran Turismo (2011).
And first, what exactly is GT Academy:
"GT Academy by Nissan x PlayStation®" is an international contest that connects the virtual and the real, started in 2008 by Nissan, PlayStation and Polyphony Digital. The idea is to give top Gran Turismo players a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become real professional race drivers.
Players who prove their prowess in the virtual world will be part of Nissan's racing team, driving real race cars on real circuits, and given the chance to obtain the necessary training and licenses to run international races.

In other words, the person who wins in the virtual game world will be given the chance to participate in a race with a real car in the real world.
Jann Mardenboro was able to achieve this in the real world.
I didn't even know that there was a place called GT Academy that gave those who wanted that chance.
Furthermore, is ``a person who has only raced in the game'' suddenly (although not) as good at racing in a real car as in the game? There was also a question, but when I see people who have actually achieved results like this, after all, those who are at the top of the world are racing cars on the circuit even if they change from the game world to real cars. I think that the degree of understanding to run as is different.
Almost any course in the world will be perfectly in your head ^ ^
