CORNES Driving Academy 2021: Fuji Speedway P7
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, "Cornes Driving Academy", a driving lesson event sponsored by Cornes Motors, was held at P7 of Fuji Speedway, so I participated.
Participation this time will be at Urakan EVO, and the actual participants are husbands. I went to play as a companion ^ ^
When I go out early in the morning, I bought the morning mac, which is my standard breakfast, at the time of departure.
The Huracán EVO has a cup holder,Like the cup holder attached to the Porsche glove box part, I'm only worried about 100% to use it for cup coffee etc. (laughs), so I brought this bottle this time.
I knew I was going to Cornes' event in Lamborghini,Porsche rally bottleThe place to choose is my "Porsche love" ... (laughs)?
By the way, this Porsche Rally bottle contains exactly 2 cups of S size McCoffee. Convenient ~. I was delighted from the morning with my uncle Mack saying "Oh! Perfect!" ^^
I'm talking about Cornes' event, but I feel like I'm not talking about Mack and Porsche Bottle in the morning, so I'd like to write about my experience of participating in Cornes Driving Academy from here. I think ^^
Urakan EVO drive after a long absence
Well, it's good to buy a McDonald's in the morning (← I'm back to the story of McDonald's (laughs)), but I can't eat while driving, so first I asked my husband to drive After eating Mac, I changed driving at Ebina PA.
I drove from Ebina to FSW on that day. It's been a while since I've been driving the Huracán EVO, so I was a little nervous at first, butHow to use the blinkerI was surprised that I remembered my body (fingers) and was able to do it without any problems.
Once you can do it, you can do it unexpectedly even if you have time. Is it the same feeling as being able to ride a bicycle?
At the gas station, I encountered Ferrari, Porsche, etc., and by the time I went to FSW, I encountered a number of cars that said, "I think they will be attending today's event," and I feel better.
I arrived at FSW P7.
Last time,I was able to drift with Porsche 911 for the first time in my lifeWell, I'm coming back to the moving P7 ... Exaggeratedly, it's actually only 10 meters, but my drift experience ^^
Park your car at the designated location.
A total of 34 vehicles participated in this driving academy. It is quite a number.
The 34 cars were divided into two groups, and each group received training and classroom programs.
Therefore, 17 units per group.
Well, it's still a little too much, but since there were 3 instructors, it is a form that 3 people are watching 17 cars. In addition, there are many other staff members who will guide you.
After stopping the car, there is a lecture first, so the hut built on P7 (what do you call it?)? It is a set in a place like.
The hut that suddenly appeared on P7 seems to have been made when I came to Sunako Juku last time (did you inspect it after it was made?).
Sweets and drinks are also available at the tent where you can sit down and see the cars in motion.
Start from classroom lecture
And in this newly built hut-like place, as a measure against corona, we open up a sense of people and take lectures in a state separated by partitions.
The first lecture started with a greeting from Mr. Cornes Motors, and then the instructor taught us the necessary knowledge before starting driving training such as driving position.
Following the lecture, the training in the actual vehicle will start immediately.
Since this event is not tied to one car manufacturer, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley gathered (I feel that there was Alfa Romeo in other groups, but I do not know well because it was not in the same group ).
Porsche Truck Experience (PTX)In a driving lesson like "Porsche ONLY" like, it is very good that the program contents and what you can teach there are specialized in Porsche performance, and you can see many various Porsche and its running. It's fun.
However, it was also a lot of fun to see various models from various manufacturers gathering together and running like this time! !!

Of the group that divided the 17 cars, Mr. Bamba was in charge of the group with her husband. It was very kind and it was nice to talk to me with a smile, and thanks to Mr. Bamba, I was able to enjoy the lessons of the day in a fulfilling way. Oh, I wasn't the one who took the lesson. But I am also fulfilling (laughs).
Also, I had the opportunity to see Mr. Motojima in various ways, and I talked about it, but he was a very nice person, and although it may be rude to say this, it was very cute ^^ ( Oh, forgive me because it's an aunt's idiot).
I didn't have much contact with Mr. Yokomizo in terms of telling me this time, but I'm glad I was able to say hello separately ^^
In the car I parked earlier, a radio was installed on the passenger seat belt before I knew it.
In this training as well, we will first get together and receive explanations directly from the instructors, and then after getting into the car, each will proceed in the form of receiving instructions and advice through this radio.
This time, it was possible to "ride a companion" in all the contents. Therefore, I will also ride with you at first ^ ^
Emergency avoidance and slow slalom
The first training is emergency avoidance and slow slalom.
It starts with a sudden braking experience with so-called ABS. I don't usually experience the sudden braking that ABS works on the Huracán EVO, so I'm going to ride this.
When I suddenly looked around while riding with me, if the scenery happened to be full of Porsche, I almost felt like "that? Is it PTX now?" ^ ^
From the low speed slalom, I wanted to see the other cars, so I got out of the car and visited from under this tent.
It was fun to see your cars running from outside the car.
You can feel the difference in sound when various models of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche accelerate.
There are individual sounds such as "Oh, this model is such a sound", and even if you look at it as a whole, there is also a "feeling of sound" of each manufacturer such as "Ferrari sound, Lamborghini sound, Porsche sound". I think it was fun to be able to feel that kind of thing all the time.

By the way, next, I will enter the next training content, high-speed slalom and oval, but here is the one that appeared with full satisfaction, high, my favorite (dake (laughs)?) Watering Cars!
Since it is FSW, the sprinklers are light blue like Taiyo Kenki.Ah. I want to ride..
And this time there were two sprinklers, but two more came along the way. What, 4 units? How gorgeous the Cornes event is! !!
When I saw the number of sprinklers, I was actually excited under the tent quietly (laughs), but I wonder if it was actually a car replacement (the water was refilled). Did you bring it? That's why it's gorgeous ...).
Unfortunately, I couldn't get on this light blue sprinkler from Taiyo Kenki Rental, so I'd like to save the fun of the day when I get on this sprinkler again ^^
High speed slalom and oval
And even in the latter half of the training, Oval, I was on board. When I was also participating in Sunako Juku, I couldn't ride the oval driven by my husband, so I tried riding with the Huracán EVO this time.
This is also interesting to get in the passenger seat of a person! !!
If you drive by yourself, you can't do it well by yourself, but for some reason, in the passenger seat of a person, "The brake point is slow. I understand! !! !! This is really strange.
I can't do it myself (laughs). ← Typical of the most unpleasant person ^^
Also, there was a black Carrera of Porsche 991.2 among those who participated, but when I suddenly saw the car, I just said, "Oh, am I also participating today?" Sometimes I had a strange illusion (laughs).
Lunch is Japanese, but ...
After training for our group, it's lunch.
Just before lunch, the next group of cars entered the square (P7). It's a pity that I couldn't see the cars of other groups slowly because I was on a replacement system, but I was able to see them at such a moment.
I wonder if there were two SVJs.
After all, the sound when stepped on, SVJ was a great sound different for each stage ^ ^
At lunchtime, we had seats separated by partitions.
The main menu is a good amount of salad and a beef bowl. I thought that Cornes would come with an Italian feeling, but I was surprised because it was quite "Japanese" ^ ^
But, after all, Cornes is the place where Italy is left behind.
I was able to choose a salad dressing, but the one that gave off a unique atmosphere was the combination of "truffle olive oil and salt", which was mixed with sesame dressing. Where did Japanese food go?
However, truffle oil and salt are too good, so I got them here. Already, the mouth is completely European. In such a place, the main dish is beef bowl! It was delicious (laughs).
By the way, is it Christmas? Lamborghini sent me champagne and truffles and cheese cream, olive oil, and truffle salt, so ... Lamborghini, maybe you like truffles ^^?
After lunch, there was a bonus to run the main course of Fuji Speedway, so I will take a short break until then.
Some people go back to their cars and take a break, while others relax in their tents.
We went back to the car and took a short break.
However, I wander around the parking lot where the car was parked because it was a big deal.

While I was happy to meet Taycan, I will head to FSW's main course.
Fuji Speedway main course running
This run is almost like a "parade run" in the lead run, so it is not a part of training or running fast.
Even so, I haven't run the FSW main course yet at Urakan EVO & even though I run slowly, it is completely different from running while worrying about the legal speed on public roads.
That's why I will run after all (this course running was an option, so only those who wish to participate).
Why is it so exciting to say "Run on the circuit!" Is it because it's too extraordinary?
No, I admire it more than that. I wonder if it's a pleasure to be able to run in the same place where great racers are usually running.
Although it is a parade run, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche run in front.
It's great when acceleration starts.
Even if it's not sports driving, it's completely different if you run on the circuit as it is! It's fun enough for me.
And, while saying that, when the front is clogged, it is also a mass human being who is annoyed and wants to go a little faster ^ ^
Still it was fun!
Urakan EVO delivered at the end of OctoberIt's been more than half a year since it was done, and I feel like I finally got a glimpse of the amazing performance of the Huracán EVO.
It was a parade run, but it was a wonderful EVO experience because I was able to get a speed that I could enjoy moderately before and after some corners and on the straight ^ ^
When I came back to P7, I learned a lot about the applied knowledge of driving in the last lecture.
It was easy to understand because he explained it with the print that is explained very carefully with illustrations ^ ^
Time attack
By the way, at the very end, I went back to the square and did "Time Attack".
A total of 3 laps of oval made of corn on the course, of which the first lap has a slalom only once in the middle. At the end you have to stop at the designated yellow cone frame.
First of all, the instructor gave a demo run, and after seeing it, each time attack started.
I was riding in the Huracán when practicing the oval, but if I was in the passenger seat during the time attack, it would just be a weight handicap for me (laughs), so I got out of the car during the time attack. It is a tour.
It was a lot of fun to see this time attack in the group we participated in! !!
I was watching the time attacks of the instructor, the participants waiting to run, and other people, but when I thought that everyone was "time being measured", I got excited, so the first time Almost everyone missed the course or couldn't stop.
This was also really interesting to watch, and I was allowed to see it with a big laugh with the people who were already watching.
Of course, it wasn't like ridiculing the failure, everyone there was harmoniously enjoying the events on the spot, and if they succeeded, everyone was overjoyed, and somehow the last. The sense of unity during the time attack was really fun ^^
In this way, I had a graduation ceremony at the end of the day, which was very entertaining, and I received a certificate of completion.
It was the most luxurious and the most enjoyable time to see a lot of cars called "supercars" running like this time.
It was the first time for my EVO to have a full-scale accelerator on and sudden braking like this time since it was delivered, so I went to a maintenance check after the event.
It didn't have to be the same day, but I was able to go home without getting stuck in traffic, so I took out the black carrera and brought the EVO to Cornes in Tokyo with two cars.
After watching everyone running comfortably for a day, when I got on the black carrera, I also said "I want to run !!".
I want to run as hard as I can in the open space in the near future ~ ^^
