This is sad news to start the new year: this Porsche Taycan was discovered in northwest England on New Year's Day 2025.
Apparently the Taycan was caught in the floods that hit northwest England.
The Taycan was found on the fairway of a golf course in Manchester on New Year's Day after widespread flooding, and unfortunately had not just been swept away but had also been frozen over by the cold overnight.
The location was the first hole of a golf course, about 300 yards long, and the Taycan was about halfway down the course, so it is believed to have been swept away about 150 yards (about 137 meters).
It is unclear whether the car was in the golf course parking lot or whether it had been washed a considerable distance to the golf course in the first place.
It appears to be a model that is equipped with a PCCB, so I'm sure the owner put a lot of care into making it, and it must be sad that something like this has happened on New Year's Day (tears, tears).
It's strange that this one car was the only one swept all the way to the middle of the fairway, but in any case, the location in the photo is so far away that you can no longer even see the fairway, and natural disasters are truly scary...
