Production volume of the 992.1 Porsche 911 GT3, and popular colors in North America
Recently, the production numbers for the 992.1-type GT3 were posted on an overseas bulletin board, so we would like to include that information here for your reference.
This information was posted on October 17, 2024, so the numbers are likely from that time.
I don't know what the source of these figures is, and I've been waiting since the day this was posted to see if any information on the source came out, but I haven't found anything, so I would like to post it again this time as it is "unofficial, but seems reliable."
The person who posted said that "99% is the exact number," and I think that this is probably almost the correct number.
992.1 Porsche 911 GT3 worldwide sales
Combined, 5,328 units of both the GT3 and GT3 Touring Package were sold in the US and 10,339 in other regions, meaning a total of 15,667 units of the 992.1-type GT3 were sold worldwide.

It seems that the Touring Package (TP) is very popular in Japan, but in the US the numbers are overwhelmingly higher for the winged GT3.
I am also a big fan of the "winged" GT3.

The Shark Blue color is extremely popular on the GT3, likely due to the impact it made when it was first released.
On the other hand, in GT3 TP, PTS was by far the most popular! That's amazing. That's how well PTS was supported.
