Recently, a report was published about a 992.1 Porsche 911 GT3 RS with its impressive, gigantic wing removed, so we went to take a look.
Incidentally, Jerry Seinfeld, who is known as a Porsche lover, also owned a 2016 991 GT3 RS, and even had the wing removed from his car.
With the big wing removed, the GT3 RS has a ducktail spoiler, which I think looks natural.
However, I cannot understand why they would choose to remove the impressive wing that is unique to the GT3 RS (if that's the case, they shouldn't have made it a GT3 RS in the first place...).
In fact, removing the wing from an RS would seriously upset the aerodynamic balance, and Porsche doesn't recommend it.
No, I don't recommend it.There is also a warning saying "Don't do it"About.
I do think that the GT3 RS without the huge wing looks pretty cool, but I think it's better to drive the GT3 RS in the state it was developed as a GT3 RS.
