Drift car version of the Porsche Cayenne

Posted: Posted:

A wild four-seater SUV

When it comes to drifting in cars, SUVs aren't usually what comes to mind, but the car we looked at this time, which was designed for drifting, is the Porsche Cayenne, a four-seater SUV.

It's a 2004 Cayenne, built by a shop called TSH Auto in Toronto, Canada.

The original V8 engine was removed and replaced with a supercharged 6.0-liter Chevrolet LS2 small block engine.

The lower part of the engine is still stock, and despite being set at a modest 7 pounds of boost, it still produces 530 horsepower to the rear wheels (the AWD system has been removed).

The Cayenne's four-wheel drive system has also been removed, with torque sent through a transmission taken from a BMW E92 335i, and the rear differential remains original.

What's more, it looks amazing too; the Cayenne's ride height has been lowered by nine inches, meaning the car's subframe is just one inch off the ground.

A custom front knuckle and angle kit provide the steering angle needed for the perfect drift, while a custom handbrake works in conjunction with a Wilwood caliper at the rear to enable some seriously awesome drifts.

By the way, the front brakes are still genuine and the wheels are 22 inches.

The interior of this Cayenne is also amazing, with a roll cage, Bentley seats in the front and racing seats in the rear. All seats are equipped with five-point seat belts for safety.

It also comes equipped with a custom audio system (with lots of speakers), so you can enjoy blasting sound from inside the car.

There are people who customize it in various ways.

Here is the video of the Cayenne:
