After breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and head to the parking lot where the car is parked in time for the start time.

When heading to this parking lot, I encountered a few local boys' junior high school students walking to school, but they seemed to have already seen a lot of Porsches in the parking lot. the conversation

"Everyone is like Porsche, Porsche, Porsche" "Yeah" "Porsche, Porsche"

(laughs) Yeah, all the adults around there were Porsche freaks.

These two are the 992s that people from Porsche Japan (participating in the special sponsor frame) can ride ↓

The entrants who gather in droves and the many staff who welcome them. And the locals who stare at the scene.

There are a total of 51 Porsche 911s participating this time, and there are also Cayenne and Panamera for operation, so if so many Porsches suddenly gathered, I think that the locals were surprised. increase.

It's not a race, so I think it was called Porsche Lady or something like that, not a race queen, but what was it?

They always welcomed us with a smile. I love my beautiful sister

Due to the heavy rain the day before, there were many cars that had not yet been able to put the bib number on the car, so there were many cars that had their bib numbers ready in the morning.

We also pasted the bib number on this morning.

Even so, yesterday's heavy rain really cleared up like a lie, and it's so hot that I can't help but be in the sun.

A lot of air cooling people are also gathered.

These three pretty flashy cars will be the pace cars that lead the three groups A, B, and C that were divided into groups for this rally.

• Group A: Carmine Red Porsche 911 Carrera (with aero kit)
• Group B: Porsche 911 Carrera S in mule orange
• Group C: Guardsred Porsche 911 GT3

Blessed with good weather, I feel like the really best Porsche rally is about to start again.

This Porsche rally is "emphasizing the lifestyle with Porsche", so even though this rally event is a rally, it is not a competition for speed or time.

It will be an event in which participants are divided into three groups and collect stamps while driving after the pace car while looking at the frame map for each group.

It's hard to understand if you just look at the frame diagram, but if you look at it properly, it's very easy to understand.

This time as well, we didn't rely on the car's built-in navigation system, but used a top map to navigate around the destination.

It is the top map that the staff worked hard to make, so it is my mission as an entrant to run according to the top map.

Look, you who used the navigation over there! Is it no good (laughs)? (Of course, it is safer to use it when you get lost ^^)

As we headed into the opening ceremony, I hope that everyone will be able to enjoy the next two days without any accidents.

Even though I'm not on the management side, I'm worried about the success of the event from the beginning, what is this feeling (laughs).

Our family has participated in all past rallies that have been held so far, and we have participated in each rally with a "different 911" each time.

I think this is quite miraculous.

1st time: Black Carrera (991.2)
2nd time: White GT3 (991.2)
3rd: Crayon 992 Cabriolet (992.1)

Just before the time of departure, my Crayon 992 cabriolet had a ladybug-like thing perched on it.

Did meeting a ladybug make you happy? Did you get lucky in love?

If you look into it, it looks like something called "Mumonchairotentou"? ? Anyway, I would like to think that it is a good start ^ ^

The driving group was divided into three groups, but among them, the C group was the group of air cooling.

I will be participating in the A group.

The time to depart has finally come, and we will depart in order from No. 01 in Group A.

At this time, an announcement was made introducing the entrants of each car, and it seems that they were able to hear the announcement on the radio inside the car.

It was after the rally that I noticed the guidance, so unfortunately I could not hear most of it. I failed! !

Even so, I could somehow hear the announcement when our car was being introduced ^^ (Surprisingly, when I was in the car, I could not hear it because I received cheers such as "I'm here!" I regret not hearing it on the radio...)

It's finally time to start Porsche The Rally Amazing Moment Feeling Hour Connection (long lol)!

After the start, the shooting team's BMW suddenly appeared in front of me.

The shooting team is filming the Porsche 911s running behind this convertible BMW.

If you look behind you, the appearance of 911s that are connected one after another.

Ahh, this moment is really irresistibly fun. I'm too happy to be in a Porsche 911 only situation.

Checkpoint 1: Lake Shirakaba Tourism Center

The first checkpoint is Lake Shirakaba Tourist Center.

This is a drive-thru stamp point, so you get a stamp while you're in the car. Efficient.

By the way, the stamp mount looks like this before the stamp is stamped, and you will stamp it on the white circle.

Once you get the stamp, go to the next point.

Fog came out around here, but it was also fantastic and quite good.

Resting Point: Utsukushigahara Kogen Museum

Next, we arrived at the Utsukushigahara Kogen Museum.

This is not a stamp point but a resting point, so everyone finished their restrooms.

After the break, when the pace car departs, each group starts again following the pace car.

I feel like the pace car was properly paced in this rally (what do you mean (laughs)).

It's a really happy sight to see only Porsche 911 even if you look around.

From this place, I ran behind the 991.2 Speedster, which I lamented a few years ago, saying, "I want it, but I can't get it at all."

A situation like this would have been unimaginable a few years ago. Too luxurious!

Checkpoint 2: Unnojuku

The second checkpoint when we arrived was the parking lot of a place called "Unnojuku".

Are you locals here? However, they were welcoming us by waving the Porsche flag. Of course, there were people who waved flags and hands at other points as well, which made me very happy.

Oh yeah, I also passed by motorcycle touring people a few times, and the bikers also waved at me~^^

First, get a stamp at the parking lot of Unnojuku, and then proceed to "Unnojuku".

Oh.

The view of the world spreading in front of me changed all at once. Where am I?

This place called Unnojuku was the first place I visited.

It is said that the area prospered as a post town in the Edo period, and even now in Reiwa, it is a place with an old-fashioned atmosphere that still remains on both sides of the road.

I feel like I've suddenly entered a different world, a different era.

In addition, Porsches lined up in rows in this wonderful historical place where you can think "Oh, this is old-fashioned Japan!" It was a spectacle that made me think,

What's more, when these Porsches gathered this time, they reserved this street in Unnojuku.

So, it's like shooting a movie that only Porsche is really in this place.

Here at Unnojuku, a photographer took a picture of each Porsche and its owners.

Finally, I was able to get a picture of it, so it was a very good memory.

I had some time to spend here, so I explored the townscape and stopped by shops.

As we were leaving, the locals along the way and the tourists were warmly waving their hands and sending us off with smiles.

There were many small children, so I used the Porsche bear that I had brought with me in the car (because I wasn't driving at the time) to say goodbye...

It was the same when we left Unnojuku, but starting with this rally, a point was set up saying, ``It's easier to understand if you reset the trip meter to 0 here.''

But is this my view? If you set the trip meter to 0, only the total distance from the starting point is posted on the frame chart from there, so you can calculate the distance for each frame by yourself from where you set it to 0 and add it. It's hard to understand without it... As a result, it would have been better not to reset it to 0, but is that wrong?

There is a notation that adds the distance number each time you advance one frame, so if you set the meter to 0 at the first start point of the day's departure, the rest is "120.8 km point" on the frame map. Or is it the easiest to understand by looking at the total number of trip kilometers? ?

Therefore, on the second day, I made use of this reflection (?), set the trip meter to 0 at the departure point on the second day, and ran to the goal without touching the meter (the number of kilometers was slightly off, so I checked it. While writing "-1km" by myself, I subtracted it from the total number of kilometers and confirmed it).

Day 1 Lunch: Kusafue Ueda Oshiromae

After having an extraordinary and memorable experience at Unno-juku, we went to lunch to satisfy our daily hunger.

Whether it's a checkpoint or lunch, there are always many staff waiting for you at each point, welcoming you with a smile and guiding you.

I really like the moment I meet these staff.

I would also like to thank the staff for choosing this lunch venue.

Because I like walnut soba,There was a time when I went from Tokyo to Kusabue to eat soba just because I wanted to eat walnut soba.It's about a place.

So I was really looking forward to this day's lunch.

The lunch served was walnut soba and tempura. Kusafue has a lot of soba noodles, so I'm happy to eat that too.

The soba restaurant was also reserved for the Porsche rally, so the parking lot is all Porsche 911.

With the Porsche flag flying, it wouldn't be strange if some people mistakenly came to see it as a certified used car fair.
