The other day, in my car Porsche 911 (991 late model)I had you attach a sports exhaust as a retrofitThat's why, after getting it on, I just wanted to hear a pleasant sound.
- I uselessly step on the accelerator
(From the perspective of others, it seems like a person who is really bad at driving (laughs)?) - Shift down to no avail and play
I thought, "Fuel efficiency is too bad!" (← My fault (laughs)).
When the engine starts, the fuel consumption displayed in the car starts from 4.0km / L. Until now, even if this was running on a road full of traffic lights in Tokyo, the numerical value increased steadily, but immediately after putting on the spoeki, even if it is a drive course that can usually go about 8 km liter, liter 4.0 from the beginning to the end You can see how I was driving as much as I wanted to hear the sound, such as the km display (laughs).
After a few days, I finally calmed down and became able to "drive normally" (laughs), so I would like to measure it here. I just had a chance to make a round trip about 10 km from the city center, so drive in the same way as possible.
・ Go → ON only in Spoeki mode
・ Return → Turn on both Spoeki + Sports mode (that is, there is no idling stop)
So, I compared them at the same distance!
result. First of all, here is the result of "Spoeki only ON" which was "Go".
The mileage is "10.9km", the required time is 28 minutes, and there are many traffic lights on general roads, so the average speed is 24km and the fuel consumption is "9.1km / L". I think it's not a bad number, even though I turned on Spoeki. Even when I wasn't wearing a spoiler, I was driving in the same way, and I think it was about 10km / L even if I went there. * The average speed of 24km may seem extremely slow, but it seems to be the average of all measurements even when the signal is stopped, so isn't this strange? ??
I thought that if I wasn't too excited about Spoeki, I wouldn't be able to run properly with good fuel economy (laughs).
* I wanted to compare the numbers this time, so I didn't shift down with the paddle at all, but let's run with particularly good fuel economy! I didn't run with all my might, and I drove normally so that the conditions would be the same on the way back and forth as much as possible.
Well, and here are the numbers for the return. I came back on the exact same route as I went. The mileage is the same "10.9km", the required time is 27 minutes off by 1 minute, and the average speed is also 24km.
Isn't it really amazing that I was able to run on the way back under exactly the same conditions as going? And self-satisfaction (laughs). So, the conclusion. I ran at the same distance and speed, and on the way back, I added it to Spoeki and turned on "Sports mode".
The fuel consumption at this time was "6.4km / L". There is a difference of "2.7km / L" from "9.1km / L" to go! Is it a big factor that the idling stop does not stop when the sport mode is set?
No, if you switch to Spoeki + Sport mode, you will get a tremendous bubbling sound, so maybe the fuel consumption required for this bubbling sound occupies a larger amount. I was just talking about it (laughs).
By the way, on the way back, Mr. M2 of BMW appeared in front of me, and he became a pacemaker with a very good feeling, so I was able to run very comfortably and come back.
Even so, the average speed was just 24km, which is the same as going, so I think that thanks to this BMW, I was able to put out the same conditions as going even on a road that was a little crowded in the afternoon. Thanks!
Next time, if I have a chance, I would like to try and measure with "Go: All Spoeki is OFF" and "Return: Spoeki OFF and only sports mode is ON". That way, I can now compare the fuel economy of all possible mode combinations in my car. … But the next measurement seems to be very boring… because the way back and forth is off (tears).
If I could endure such bad conditions, I would like to try it (laughs).
