Milk also celebrates Wednesday, September 11, 2024
Today, September 11, 2024, marks the seventh 911 Day since I started this blog, 911Supercars.
As 9/11 Day approached again this year, a few days before September 11th I noticed something happening and it got me really excited.
Here is it.
One day, when I stopped by a supermarket called Olympic, I noticed that the milk on display was looking at me and telling me, "It's 9/11!"
I found myself standing frozen in the milk section of the supermarket.
"Oh, you guys... you're all 9/11!!!"
On that day, I was staring at a huge amount of 9.11 milk and thought to myself, "Oh, 9/11 is just around the corner," and went home excited. After that, whenever I looked at milk in various places, I noticed that milk from various manufacturers started to say "9.11" with each passing day... ↓
The milk is also full of 9/11, what a wonderful period it is.
Of course, it's not just milk. One day, I happened to see deep-fried tofu!
As I looked around further, I saw, "Ahhh, even you have Okame Natto!!!"
I can't help but think that Okame-san of Okame Natto is smiling as he celebrates the upcoming 9/11 Day ^^ (For a few days he became a hopeless man who would occasionally appear in supermarkets and grin at milk and natto...).
911 Touring to celebrate 911 Day
Well, that's enough about milk and natto (lol), but since September 11th was a Wednesday this time, I'd like to talk about the "911 Touring" that was held on the weekend before that.
On this day, I had participated in several touring trips before.YamadaA tour was held by.
This is a 911 touring event to celebrate 911 Day, where only 911s will be driven.
Moreover, just before this day, Yamada-san had coincidentally purchased a yellow Porsche 911 (991.1) Carrera S, so I really wanted to line it up next to my yellow 997 GT3.
I was so excited when I went out, and to my surprise, there was another yellow car there!!
So, unexpectedly, I was able to line up three yellow 911s. I'm happy.
By the way, my 997 GT3 is Speed Yellow, and the other two are Racing Yellow. The Speed Yellow is more yellowish with golden yellow, while the Racing Yellow is more yellowish with lemon.
The car in front is the Speed Yellow 997 GT3. It's hard to tell from this photo.
This time, I was so focused on lining up the yellow cars that I didn't get to take many good photos of the other great cars (sorry), but there were a lot of cool 911s lined up, including the Speedster with its incredibly cool decals, as well as the matte black GT3 TP and GT3 RS.
Among them is a 911 with the latest Turbo Knight crest! So cool!
There were 19 cars gathered at the venue that day.
Of these, 18 bikes took part in the tour...Yes, this time too, our family had other plans for that morning so we were unable to join the tour itself and had to miss it.
But I also like this send-off.
Although it was only for a short time, I was able to say hello and talk to people I hadn't seen in a while, make new acquaintances, and see all the wonderful Porsches that were gathered there.
It was an honor to be able to participate in the 911 Touring (as a send-off) to celebrate 911 Day.
I'm very happy to be able to gather with people who love 911.
I'm sure it will be a flash before next year's 9/11 comes. I hope you all have a wonderful 9/11!!
